"We had to request shower gel and shampoo as it was not replaced the last time it was cleaned. Also the bathroom fan was not working and was told that all the bathrooms have this issue. Also noticed that the room wasn’t cleaned to its standard as I noticed stains on the night stand and desk. Very disappointing as I frequently stay at Hampton Inn and Suites in various locations. "

"The rooms were much smaller than expected. Although the two beds were a decent size, there were no closets or wardrobes. This meant that we either had to keep everything on the sitting bench that shut it out into the very thin walkway at the foot of the beds, or hang everything up. Hanging everything up from the wall hooks was cute, but absolutely did not work for multiple people staying in that room. The backpacks shut it out all the bags were constantly in the way. It was a very pretty room, and a very clean room, but a very small room. It would work best for a single traveler or a couple sharing a single bed. That said, 24/7 market selections in terms of food and beverages available for purchase were fantastic. And the breakfast was very good as well. Families with small children would like that. They have a DIY pancake machine that you can watch cook your pancakes after adding fun toppings. It was a big hit with the little people in the lobby, so it was a very good stay overall, but just be aware of the very small rooms if you’re coming with your whole family to Hersheypark."

"Just 2 minor complaints: There weren’t sufficient towel racks in the bathroom (like most hotels). The bath tub was slippery when showering. A bath mat or non-slip surface is needed. If someone slips and hits his head on a hard surface, he could be severely injured or killed and sue you for $millions. "

"For the price? It’s a solid stay. The check in was pretty easy and staff seemed to be helpful and approachable. Upon check in the woman at the front desk let me know that guests receive a 10% discount at the diner down the street, which was a nice surprise and was useful during my stay (their food was good - above average diner) Rooms were clean, AC worked well and the shower pressure was good. Was able to hook up my chrome cast which was a good thing as the tvs do not have access to apps like Netflix/hulu/etc. But still have all the regular channels so not really an issue especially I brought my Chrome cast. Breakfast is good, pancake machine is a nice change from the countless other hotels that have waffle makers. Donuts, oatmeal, coffee etc is offered. Maybe some apples or bananas would be a good additional option as I don’t recall seeing any but also I skip breakfast often and when i do eat it it’s usually towards the end of service. They do allow smoking some rooms however it’s kept to the third floor so it doesn’t smell it if you are on the other floor (I’m pretty sensitive to smoke so I was surprised by the lack of smoke odor) anyways, it’s not the Ritz Carlton or the Hyatt but for clean rooms, great service and solid breakfast at that price it’s definitely a great option tbh. "

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a noise issue with a broken AC/heat unit and had to move in the middle of the night because we couldn't sleep, but they were helpful. Tried to call desk, but phone was missing the cord and didn't work. Breakfast was lacking options. I wished they had more items and fresh items (fewer packaged items), but it was fine for a day. Convenient to Hersheypark which is what we needed it for. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Good enough for the price."
