"Easy to find thanks to a text on the day directing us to the parking area. Met by Allison at the door and made very welcome. The room, Lindesfarne, (No4) was superbly furnished and the view was all we expected. Cant fault it. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order and was of a high quality. Overall i'd have no hesitation in recommending The Roxburgh. "

"Overall a very good value place to stay, and as long as you know the place’s limits in advance you can plan round them. A bit on the basic side (no desk in the room, no towels, no dedicated wifi (something cloudy that didn’t work on 4th floor, so I tethered iPad to phone). toilet and shower a bit “military grade” but the price point was exceptional. Most of the staff were really friendly. Oh yeah there was a bit of a smell in the 4th floor corridor, but this was only in the corridor not in the room thankfully."

"We had a lovely break at River View Cottage.Even before we had arrived the hosts had reached out to us to welcome us to the property and ask if we had any requests they could help with.Entry to the property was a dream with fantastic clear instructions, the property was wonderfully clean, bright and warm ( very cold outside the weekend we visited). There was a beautiful welcome pack waiting for us upon entry and a concise set of notes for the house.River View gave us everything we needed to visit Berwick upon Tweed and the surrounding area and the hosts were amazing in their responsiveness and put us at ease with any concerns we had.I'l looking forward to seeing if we can return for another break, hopefully in the sun and spend more time enjoying said view and looking for dolphins!!All in all would thoroughly recomend."

"A beautiful apartment in an amazing location so close to the beach. Not a lot of amenities in Spittal but the beach is wonderful and it is close to many other lovely places."
