It was locked. There were buttons to ring someone but they all had names on them like an apartment building. I rang them anyway. No one responded. I went to another door; it was locked. I knocked; no one responded. I walked all around the building; nothing was open. Finally, I called the number for the reservation. No one answered! I was outside in the freezing cold, with 2 big suitcases, thinking I had been scammed. I had to walk to the nearest tram to go back to the train station. I booked the nearest hotel I could find. I emailed the contact on Expedia and explained what had happened. She said I could come the next day. I had already checked in at another hotel. Plus, what if she wasn’t there again! She was not at all sympathetic or understanding and charged me a “no show” fee! Unbelievable! She had the nerve to say “there is such a thing as leaving a message.” Really? While I am out in the freezing cold with all of my luggage? I am supposed to wait for her to call me back? She also told me that there are no scams in Switzerland. Leaving room kitchen dinning room and a small terrazzo. Amazingly clean place and very friendly people. Close distance from the old city and easy access to public transportation. A bid difficult to find the first time but after that it was easy. Because there is a kitchen you can buy groceries at a supermarket located at three blocks and have breakfast and/or dinner there too.
