"Pros: The hotel has a great location near a U-station. It also offers free laundry. Cons: Our bedding smelled very bad, and it did not improve after requesting a room cleaning. Also, the room was very hot and stuffy. The air conditioning did not work correctly despite following the instructions to the letter. We kept the windows open full time. The WiFi worked about 30% of the time. It was in and out."

"We are a family of four (two parents and two boys ages 15 and 13). We stayed three nights at Novotel Suites Berlin Potsdamer Platz in late June 2026 in a Standard Suite, Multiple Beds, Kitchenette room. Overall, we thought the location was great and the room seemed to be a good value. We loved that there were three sinks and the toilet was separate from the shower/bath. The wifi worked well. However, there were several things that could have been better. The weather was very hot and the room's air conditioning was woefully inadequate, so the room felt overly warm and stuffy. Opening the room's windows and door helped to address the stuffiness, but it was less than ideal due to street noise intruding throughout the night and lack of privacy with our door open (and we of course didn't sleep with the room door open). The elevator was exceptionally slow, using the hotel's parking garage was confusing (we ended up parking on the street two nights), and while the staff were generally friendly, they were pretty unhelpful at times."
