I was disappointed with the enviroment which was very quiet and isolated. This is not the place if you want to meet and talk to people. The room climate was very warm I coulden't sleep well at night. I had booked a private room for 4 people, for 3 nights. When we arrived I was told that I had cancelled my booking, and therefore they didn't have a room for us. But I had not cancelled anything! I had even received an email a few hours earlier from Hotels.com about the upcoming stay. They checked again after a few times saying it was my mistake, and the receptionist figured out it was a colleague who had cancelled it. But they managed to moved around some of the other guests to free up a room for us for the night. We were told we had to move to another room for the next night. But we ended up staying in the same room all of our stay. Food was fine, lots of young people on school trip stays in this hostel. Everything worked out as expected. The only concern is the numerous groups of youth staying in the hostel that are unbelievably loud until quite late and start again early in the morning. That means you can actually sleep slightly less than 8 hours because the rooms are not soundproof. The hostel also lack a power socket close to the bed. Otherwise there was no issues.
