Room was clean and tidy, with basic items available as you would expect from the cost of the location. Staff were efficient however more information on check in, such as check out times etc, would’ve been helpful as it took a while before I spotted the in room QR code that provided this.

Very close to the Center and Potsdamer Platz walking distance, also very close to Public Transport and a direct bus line to Berlin Hbf. Friendly staff, breakfast is average but fair for the price.

Great location and cost effective alternative

Great location, the staff is lovely (reception and breakfast teams) and everything was nice and tidy. Perfect for a short stay and walk around Berlin.

Great breakfast with friendly staff. The location is very convenient. The room itself was clean, but the bathroom was rather mouldy. One pillow per person is not very comfortable.

Staff were courteous and daily housekeeping - like a hostel with your own bathroom. I stayed for 7 nights but only had breakfast once - not a big eater. Food choices were typical. Plenty of good cafes in walking distance every direction. Bed was comfy and lots of clean towels - great place to stay if only looking for a bed and/or breakfast.

I was impressed by both the value and the service provided at this budget hotel. Martin checked us in and was friendly and hospitable even though we arrived so late. The room was cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The location is outstanding, with great restaurants, cafes, and metros nearby. Will definitely book the Ibis Budget Potsdamer Platz when I return to Berlin!

Clean and basic bit has everything you need. Breakfast also basic. Hot sausages and scrambled eggs and cold choices of cereal, yogurt or hams and cheese. Room clean and neat like a hospital rather than hotel room but the location is perfect, walking distance to the centre and Potsdamer Platz, check point Charlie and Brandenburg Gate. Would use again as the price was good too.

Great location, friendly staff, but hotel standart is to low. Room and especially bathroom was worn and bathroom smelled extremely bad all the time. Theres no small towels and only one small pillow. Only one elevator working and getting upp/down to room was big problem

Businnes stay

Good accommodation with great staff. The AC was not working properly for the very hot days but nothing too hard to handle. Cleaning could be improved and the automatic beverages machine does not accept cards, just coins. Overall, the place is good.

Great location but the hotel is a bit of a dump. I think they tried to find things to justify the word ‘budget’ in the name such as decorating rooms like a hospital ward and providing pathetic tiny pillows and wafer thin duvets. Brilliant location though if you don’t intend to spend any time whatsoever in your room.

You get what you pay for. Nothing out of the ordinary about the hotel, but the room was pretty spacious when booked as a single person, though if occupied by 3 people, it may get cramped
