We had a wonderful stay at the property. Booking, check in and check out were seamless. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Lovely short walk to the historic district for meals and coffee. Beautiful yard to relax in plus a yard for the dog! House is very historic and comfortable. Great, vintage details, loved the decor! Could use some touch up painting in upstairs hall bath. Only challenge was the room with the two twin beds was too small for us to pull out the second bed. Worked out for us as we used the sofa bed, but would need it to sleep 8.
Thanks for a great stay!
Stayed 2 nights with 5 adults and a small dog. The location was perfect for our plans to visit Ocean City and Assateauge as it was a 15 minute drive to both. Space was plentiful, although perhaps not quite as luxurious as the photos look. It's definitely an old house and the quality of some of the furinutre, including the guest bed I slept on was poor. The property is run by a realty company so it was less personal than other vrbo experiences I've had. Nevertheless, they were very responsive the couple of times I need to reachout. The first time was to get in because I did not see the email they sent (not from vrbo) with check-in instructions. The second time was due to some lights not working and they sent someover over right away even though it was the evening already. Overall, it was a good value for the location and amount of space.

Not what I thought
The home smelled bad to the point we had to buy air freshener and candles. The smell was so bad the first night I had trouble sleeping. It was like a musty smell combined with smell of animal urine downstairs. The home was clean though but dusty. I was disappointed that there was no ice machine. The upstairs shower in master poorly designed and water does go all over the bath! Maybe the little wall should be moved to the end of the shower and not right beside the shower head.biggest reason we got it was location which was nice

The listing made the house to look great. My wife and I arrived Thursday evening 10/3. The neighborhood was great, it took us a good 5-10 minutes to find out which door had the key code to get entry inside. Once inside we did a walk through and my wife and I were absolutely not impressed with the condition.
The 1st level bathroom once small and horrible. The upstairs 2nd bedroom bathroom was absolutely in horrible condition. The draining in the shower was very poor, and there was paint peeling. The bed squeaked with the slightest movement. The master bedroom was nice but once again the bathroom was not. It has an open shower which makes the entire floor get wet. The shower mat that was provided was saturated by the time we were done our showers. We had friends of ours arrive Friday afternoon to stay with us until Sunday and my wife and I were so embarrassed of the condition of the 2nd room that didn’t take any money from them for their stay and we offered our friends the master bedroom.
Also we found used toothbrushes laying around and used toilet paper rolls underneath the bathroom vanity that appeared to have gotten wet.
Great older house. Even has a working record player which we took advantage of. Very good vibe to the house. Met the owner, she was very pleasant, and easy to talk with. Quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk from all the downtown action. We had a good time
