  • Enjoy your vacation in this lovely home in the gated community of Assateague Pointe. Just recently completely remodeled, let the coastal charm of this 2 bedroom home sweep away your stress! The home offers a queen bed in the main bedroom, a bunkbed of two doubles in the second bedroom, and for extra sleeping, the sofa in the living room opens to a double. There is a kitchen, central a/c, 2 smart TV's available for your streaming services, Free WiFi, and parking for 2 cars. This property also has a delightful courtyard comfortably furnished for those evening family get togethers. The community has 2 beautiful outdoor pools, a clubhouse, a rec room with laundry facilities, stocked fishing ponds, a lighted fishing pier, and various playground and picnic areas. Just a short ride to the beaches at Assateague Island or Ocean City. This property does not allow smoking or animals. Occupancy limit is 8. There is No washer or dryer in unit but there is a laundry room at Rec center. A linen package including sheets and towels can be rented for an extra charge.

This property was perfect for our stay. We loved the location. It had everything we needed. It is very nicely decorated and was very clean and organized inside. We truly enjoyed it Would stay here again.

The place was just as listed, very nice and clean. We felt right at home and enjoyed being a short walk from the pier and pool. The covered gazebo out back was a nice touch to hang out under without getting burnt during the mid day sun. The kitchen was equipped with a lot of things we needed and the bathroom even had some extra things in case you forgot. The listing on vrbo is actually through a rental company that listed it on here so you deal with them and really don't need to pay the extra fee to book through vrbo. You can't communicate with them on vrbo, they call you with information and then you have to set up a profile and make your second payment on there so save the vrbo fee. We've stayed at Assateague Pointe before and usually get information about the code to check in, house rules, etc. so they called beforehand just go there and it would be there. I called the day before and they said they had my packet and then when we arrived since it was after the office closed, the security guard told us he didn't have anything and it was a long process of him trying to run around and find it. After a long day of driving, it could have been (and it was using a different rental) an easier check in process. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was opening the fridge and having an open Capri sun in there... made me wonder how clean it really was but that's the only thing that made me feel that way, everything else was fine. I'd definitely stay here again!
