Located within the private gated community of Assateague Pointe, this beautifully furnished double-wide home sits on a stocked fishing pond and offers all the comforts of home. The property includes a full kitchen, washer and dryer, two TVs, a DVD player, and central A/C. The community features amenities for all ages, including two large outdoor pools, a recreation room, a fishing pier into the bay, stocked fishing ponds, complimentary paddle boats, a basketball half court, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Conveniently located just minutes from the beaches of Assateague Island National Park and the Ocean City beach and boardwalk, this home provides a great base for your coastal vacation. Occupancy is limited to six guests. This is a non-smoking property, and pets are not permitted. Please note: sheets, towels, paper products, and cleaning supplies are not provided. A linen package, including sheets and towels, is available to rent for an additional charge.

Nice amenities and convenient

This is listed as a beautifully decorated rental which leaves much to be desired. The nicest things in this property are the vanity in the bathroom and living room couch/recliner. The beds are grossly uncomfortable and covered in a plastic waterproof mattress cover. While we appreciate the mattress cover, it sounds like you’re a 12 year old at sleep away camp - every adjustment produces a god awful sound. The shower head needs to be fixed, which they clearly attempted to fix with the rubber boot around the pipe but it’s half assed at best. There spots on the ceiling in the bathroom, seems and parts where the walls aren’t attached, and just overall gave me the heebies. My daughter who is crawling had stains on her knees after crawling on the carpet. The neighborhood is great and amenities in the development are stellar, but I will never stay in this unit again unless a major facelift is done.
