"The hotel manager was so helpful in giving us directions and figuring out transportation in NJ/NY! All the staff were so genuinely kind and laid back. Only negative experience was that one night shift shuttle driver didn’t show up to pick us up. We called a second time after waiting for 40 minutes outside the airport and he finally came. When he did show up, he wasn’t polite. Wouldn’t even respond to a “hi” or a “thank you.” Also, breakfast was somewhat limited but pretty tasty!"

"Second stay at this property. Went for 2 nights for business last week, and it was so nice I went back for 3 more nights this week. The property is modest but lovely. It’s appointed nicely, and the grounds are spectacular. Gated pool open 10am-8pm, lovely patios and covered area with a grill for the guests, and a basketball court (all outdoors). Restaurant and bar on-site open 5pm-10pm. Cute 24hr snack area, including a selection of wines and beers. Staff is exceptional. Professional, courteous, friendly, helpful, always ready to say “good morning” or “good night”. First visit was a Queen Suite, this time a King suite. Older appliances but nice sized fridge/freezer, 2-burner electric stovetop, dishwasher, dishes, a few pots and pans, silverware and a thing or two of cookware, including corkscrew. King Suite is two separate rooms, very large living room area, nice sized bedroom, vanity with sink, then bathroom. Shower is narrow but efficient. Bed was super comfy, linens crisp and problem-free. I didn’t need maid service because I only slept maybe 6 hours a night and worked the rest of the time, but housekeeping was always present, including slipping a note under my door mid-stay encouraging me to invite them in whenever necessary. They have conference space (may be limited), directly next to great Indian food, Jersey Mike’s, Dunkin. Check in and out quick and easy. Will 100% stay again. "

"As always l, staying at this Howard Johnson was fantastic! Easy check in. Great staff! I guess my only thing with staying here was that I had an awesome room two weekends ago and I really would like to try and get the same room again. It was great! The bathroom was spacious! I am not a big fan of bathtub at a hotel, very slippery. If there is a way to reserve a particular room, that would be great to know. Other than that, the stay was great! "
