There is no snow plowing service on the 1 mile unpaved road that leads up to the house which is in the middle of the mountain. It is very well furnished with high quality furniture - comfortable beds, large screen TVs with lots of viewing options, plenty of cozy spots to curl up with a book, great outside seating options and a fully equipped kitchen. I would not have rented had I known that. Also, he never called with updated check in instructions, his cabin showed up in a pet friendly search when that was not the case, and the ad has old instructions that are not clear. I was sent to the wrong place. Everything was clean and it is probably the most well furnished rental I have been to. The owner was also very helpful and easy to communicate with. It was beautiful and well-appointed. The A/C worked really well, which was good, because it was the hottest time of the year when we were there. We had no problems finding it or getting up and down the mountain. The Wifi did not work great and cell service was spotty at times, but George warned us about that and it was not a big problem. Our kids ran around in the woods and we had a fire in the fire pit one night. A previous guest had even left s'mores supplies, which were much appreciated. ##### Meghan F. The house is beautiful and you can tell alot of work went into the details. If you do forget anything, it is pretty much at the house. The beds were so comfortable, came home to order some toppers they used in the master. We had motorcycles and were lucky to find a neighbor at the bottom to let us park them there. The incline and the wash outs were a little worrisome but was told the road would be regrated shortly. The firepit outside was amazing and set up for us as well.
