Hotel is perfectly located in Bergen, close to all the attractions and shops. Staff was great and friendly, Breakfast was excellent with plenty of offerings, the deluxe room was decently sized. The only thing preventing me from giving a perfect rating is that I was assigned a room facing the interior alley, which basically have no view (the windows have privacy film applied). It definitely was not the view as pictured here on Expedia.

The “courtyard” view was basically looking over an alley with trash containers in it and other debris. No air conditioning or airflow in the rooms and it was very stuffy and warm. The rooms and hallway were dark and cramped. Staff was great and breakfast was ok.

Great location near the city center could easily walk to shops, restaurants and the bus to the Ulriken cable car. We were able to check in early to the hotel, around noon, and pay a small extra fee ($10 US) for late check out (1 pm) the next day. Breakfast was amazing: lots of hot and cold choices.

We really loved our stay at Hotel No13. The location of the hotel is close to the train station and other city center amenities. The styling of the hotel was fantastic, the room very spacious and comfortable. All staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

The first room’s door wouldn’t lock. We had to move. The rooms were both very warm and we were unable to cool the room down. Was a nice little room, but slept poorly due to excessive warmth. Fridge don’t work either. The staff was as helpful as they could be due to strike.

Location is very convenient, room is nice but lots of issues : 1)- thermostat doesn’t work well, room either too hot or too cold. Notify staff and nothing was done. 2)- Mirror in bathroom if too dark and not useable. 3)- Staff on weekend has no knowledge of anything else except checking in and our for guests. 4)- Breakfast is nice but eating in the dark and low ceiling basement is not a way to start your day. 5)- management is completely out of touch on the weekend.
