We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marta's cottage. The little welcome basket and bottle of wine was delightful, along with the quiet jazz that was playing upon our arrival. The cottage is so cute, and we found it to be very clean and comfortable. It was a pleasure to get to know Marta a little bit, and it is clear she cares about her guests and wants their stay to be a great experience...and ours was!! We hope to return soon.

This was a perfect place to stay for a weekend birthday trip. Marta was so nice. The property was available hours earlier than expected. We loved the complimentary grills and fire pits. This was a great option for a short stay, even though we came right before the pool opened! It was so close to the beach we could see the water from the window, and close enough to town to walk in. Very clean cottage, filled with treats from local businesses, pool house loaded with games, beach towels, etc. Owner is very hospitable and available for any questions we had, including suggestions of places to eat in the area. We plan to come back to South Haven soon and hopeful to stay at this cottage again!

Great Place!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway for our anniversary. This place is so charming and well kept and in a perfect location. We walked everywhere in South Haven and while at the cottage, swam in the pool, read books on the deck of the pool house, played ping pong in the pool house and had a fire each night out front. The beach is also right across the street. It was perfect.

Relaxing and therapeutic!!

Who knew that sand and snow combined would be just what we needed! As soon as we walked into our cottage getaway, the cozy space welcomed us with a beautiful kitchen, large TV and the bed was really comfortable!! Fall getaway

We hs e stayed in several places in southwest Michigan and this is by far our favorite. It’s in a perfect location, but is much more than that. The property has all of the amenities and more. The owner makes sure that everything is just right. We watched amazing sunsets from the beach across the street. We will definitely be back!!

Off season trip

The town is very quiet, many shops and restaurants closed or with limited hours but it made the available options more personal. Cottage is comfortable and extremely clean. I wish the weather was a little better so we could have utilized the outdoor areas but the fireplace is cozy.

The cottage

This cottage was perfect for 2 adults and a dog. We had a king-sized bed for sleep, a nice sized bathroom and a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed to have a meal. Just outside of the cabin was a patio table with 4 chats and a fireplace. And, it was so close to Lake Michigan for walks.

This gem of a cottage… perfect location.. walked everywhere.. to town, to the Beach directly across the street… Nicely decorated.. everything you need including personal touches from Hostess…. Would love to stay again and take advantage of the pool and other outdoor activities! Just a sweet spot… highly recommend!!!
