"WOW! When we arrived we were immediately taken back by the incredible setting of this log home. The owner makes it very easy for arrival, with lots of notes and information about the home and the area. It was nice to sit and read the lovely notes that previous guests had left for them. "My husband and I came to Shaftsbury VT hoping to see covered bridges, putter through shops and visit a sugar house to see maple syrup being made. Instead we were mostly restricted by the weather, choosing to hunker down in the cozy farmhouse for most of Saturday. The snow was beautiful, as was the farm. While the trip wasn't what we had planned, we enjoyed relaxing in such a scenic home. (I absolutely loved the bed in the kitchen!!!!)"

"Just an amazing place to relax and chill out. Very clean, nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. Short drive to Stratton, so easy to get a day at the mountain in. Host is very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. We stayed here four weekends during the ski season, kids, parents and dog all loved it."
