"Property gives off 2 star hotel vibes. Clean-ish. Comfortable-ish. Safe-ish. I would not choose to stay here again.The rooms and bed availability was as described. Plus for so many bathrooms and laundry w/ detergent available. Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. There is a grocery store and a few fast food options nearby.We were a multi generation family on vacation with 2 seniors and 2 potty training toddlers. We needed the extra bathrooms but it was definitely a trade off for better accomodations. Like others noted, the property was surface level clean. There was just one tub of disinfecting wipes that I could find. I had to go purchase a cleaner. The glass table in the kitchen/dining area only seats 4. The dishes, cook ware, appliances, and such seemed to be just a random accumulation of unorganized and irrelevant items. Example, there were so many butter knives, several big tablespoons, 2 teaspoons, and 4 forks. I had to buy plastic forks. Several towels had stains/holes. Bedrooms and closets used as storage for random furniture and items. The closets were so stuffed that items were spilling out and made it impossible to close doors properly. The mattresses had an egg crate pad added but that doesn't cover up worn mattresses. All of the furniture is creaky and worn.In other reviews the owner says that visitors should have contacted her. I chose not to because I was managing a family on vacation. The unit should be ready for guests."

"This Row House in Capital Hill was the perfect home base for our family vacation. If you are driving in, you cannot beat having a free place to park your vehicle. The secure garage was a gem! The house is so convenient to the grocery store and the Metro station. There are also several restaurants within a few blocks. This was so nice. We especially enjoyed the Roost. Alex, the property manager, was very responsive and so kind. Darwin, the maintenance man, was so nice. The A/C was working overtime because of the heat outside. Darwin came in and worked on it quickly. He got everything sorted in no time at all. We were so thankful for our time in DC."
Charming Home with Free Parking

"We travelled July 2026 with our family of 5 with adult sized kids for 10 days touring DC and surrounding areas. TL/DR We'd absolutely stay here again! Hosts were amazing, rental was perfect, and was within easy access of places we wanted to go. The neighborhood felt very safe and secure. Full:Perfect home away from home with super easy access to bus routes (C41 & C43 are a 5-10 min walk and can get you anywhere in DC). Use tap & go with a card, or pick up some bus passes at a Metro station (the Armory Metro station is the closest).AC in 100 F summer DC worked great! Loved their extra portable AC units for upstairs rooms. The triple bunk bed (downstairs room) easily fit our 2 adult sized boys. They loved them & said the mattresses were really comfy. All of the TV's worked great (one in each upstairs bedroom plus one in the family room).2 full size showers upstairs were awesome. Beds upstairs were comfy as well. Love the huge master bath!We never felt cramped or on top of each other, which is a feat for a family of our size so kudos to the layout!It's well equipped with plenty of towels, cutlery, dishes, tp & the necessities. Tip: Don't bring anything larger than a minivan (we had a 26 Honda Odyssey), parking in the rear stall is suuuuper tight. We got used to it, but a full size SUV or truck definitely won't fit. Hosts were AMAZING!!! They went out of their way multiple times to make our stay extra special. A Two big thumbs up! You'll love it here!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The host was very helpful about resolving any issues and communication was excellent. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s a very quick drive into downtown D.C. I would just like to comment on the A/C that was amazing. The house was so comfortable inside on hot days."
