"A great looking hotel with the indoor koi lake , turtle area, general rainforest style and decor , lots of activities included for kids , mini golf , table tennis, indoor play areas , arcade , evening entertainment , big pool (the resort water park within walking distance or via free shuttle) nice spacious rooms , a good selection of food available for all meals and snack bar (would like a bigger selection of fruit) would return"

"Hotel was very clean, and in most places very modern with outstanding facilities from pool, pool bar and ice cream van, restaurant, supermarket, indoor pool and gym, doctors room, kids play area and lots more. Luggage room is very secure with addition lockers for bags and loose valuables with separate shower room for those who have a late return flight and want to refresh themselves. Plenty of sun loungers, no mad rush to get one in the morning and has a nice relaxed feel to the place. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel which is very likely in the near future."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Sahara Sunset in Benalmádena as a family of four with two children under five. The hotel is in a great location, with lovely surroundings and plenty of restaurants and amenities within walking distance. We didn’t manage to visit the beach or marina during our stay, but there was plenty nearby to enjoy. Our apartment was lovely, spacious and well equipped, and overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. There were a few areas where cleanliness could have been improved, particularly the remote controls, which were quite dirty. However, this didn’t detract too much from our experience. A real highlight was the Casah restaurant. The staff were absolutely lovely and made our visits really enjoyable. The food was good too. We had lunch there on our first day and breakfast on two mornings during our stay. One thing worth noting for families travelling with pushchairs is that there isn’t step-free access around the apartment areas, which can make getting about a little tricky. There is, however, a lift from the lobby to the restaurant area. Overall, we had a really lovely stay and would happily recommend Sahara Sunset, particularly to families looking for a comfortable, well-located base in Benalmádena."

"Well located with bus stops, supermarkets, beaches, restaurants, parks. Breakfast buffet food excellent can be disappointment in the evening at times for vegetarians but very good majority of the time. Great for kids. Adults and children's pools with regular entertainment in both. Also, quiet areas, giant chess, paddle and football. Spa and gym onsite of very high standard. Staff very helpful, would stay again"

"Hotel was great I was in older part of hotel rooms slightly dated by do not let that put you off. All interactions with the staff were good and when I had issue with key card lock maintenance were there within 5 mins. All staff extremely helpful,romm was cleaned daily if you wanted and even though cooler now air conditioning works great. Pool area clean and plenty of sunbeds. I would definitely stay here again Also plenty of choice at breakfast"

"Communication was fantastic but I don’t even need to communicate while there as I found all I needed and expected. Though I did struggle to use the keypad to my room at 0200am and had a mini panic until I got the knack of it. The apartment was clean and tidy but a few lights didn’t work (this wasn’t a necessity for me & no time to report it). Espresso maker good but I’d have preferred a kettle. Location quiet, but easy walk to nearest (20 mins) as the Mercadona that’s 2 mins away isn’t open at weekends. Pool not busy and had sun most of the day in October."
