Cozy cottage

Stayed for 5 nights while in town for a wedding. Cottage was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Would 10/10 stay again when I visit the area.

We’ve stayed at a lot of short term rentals but this has to be one of the cutest, well appointed, and best stocked ever. Great house in a great location!!!

We had a great stay. Loved all the outdoor spaces. The house was quiet, except for an occasional dog barking. Restaurants were in town and Santa Cruz was a 20min drive. The house had everything we needed. LOVED the counter top ice maker!!!

Relaxing stay at a cozy cottage!

The cottage was cozy and beautifully decorated. It was fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The view from the front porch was breathtaking! And the host was very warm and welcoming. We look forward to staying there again!

Perfect Little House

We loved this property. We have stayed in hundreds of vrbos and this is one of our favorites. It is beautiful, comfortable and one of the best well stocked places we have stayed. It is peaceful and quiet yet close to so many things to do. We will definitely come back!

Delightful Stay!

We adored our stay here in this little gem of a cottage set right in the redwoods. The place was stocked with all we needed and the attention to detail in all areas was very much appreciated. The back courtyard with firepit and bbq were wonderful as well. The quiet mornings on the porch were just what my soul needed. A mama and 2 baby deer joined us one morning and made it even more peaceful and special. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much to the owners for making our stay wonderful.

The place was supplied with everything we needed and was clean except for the caulking in the shower, which had a ton of mold. Kitchen was nicely appointed. Rental is located right off the main road so while there was no road noise while in the house, you need to be looking for the turn ahead of time. Not a problem really, more of a ‘good to know.’

Cozy stay with redwood view

The house has a very well stocked kitchen with a huge variety of baking and cooking pots, pans, pie plates, blender, crockpot and even an immersion blender. We didn’t use much of them, but I was impressed that they were offered. Lots of nice towels and linens. The house had a wonderful front porch and nice backyard with a big barbecue and a fire pit. We were very comfortable there. Check in and out was very easy. The location was convenient for hiking in the redwoods. Only a few negatives. The road is very busy which makes walking into town challenging. Also the steps to get into the backyard were tricky if you were unaware of them.

This was an AWESOME place to stay. Besides the small town atmosphere and the sight of tall redwoods, this guest house was wonderful. It was clean, well decorated and had a comfy bed. The back yard and porch are very welcoming!We definitely will come back!!!

Home Away From Home

We are repeaters. We just love this cottage. It is so comfortable and a wonderful home away from home. Lynn's gardens are beautiful, the redwoods are majestic and if that weren't enough....there are hummingbirds!!!!!This is also one of the best stocked kitchens we've stayed in. Lynn is also a wonderful host.

Perfect stay!

I had a wonderful stay among the redwoods. This home had everything I needed, plus a beautiful backyard perfect for reading and relaxing. Clean and tidy in a convenient location with easy access to hiking trails and nearby groceries. Host was kind and easily reachable. I would definitely return.

Beautiful Cottage in the Redwoods

What a great property, clean, beautiful and relaxing. We spent our time sleeping in, hitting up the state parks and relaxing in the evenings. The bakery was within walking distance was dangerously good. We went there everyday… would definitely go back

Tucked away in the redwoods

We love this property! We are repeaters because the property is beautiful! The kitchen is one of THE best equipped we have seen. The back garden is adorable and the front porch lets you drink in the beauty and peace of the gorgeous redwoods. It is tucked away yet so close to all the conveniences you'll need. Lynn is a wonderful host, very responsive and has really thought about everything you need.

Beautiful house and property, surrounded with redwoods. Lovely front porch with couch and swing, and backyard sitting area, comfortable furniture everywhere, and everything we needed! Birds and fabulous star viewing, even a hummingbird feeder outside the kitchen window. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Love the Ben Lomond Market a half mile away, for handmade sandwiches and all groceries we needed. Lynn is a wonderful host as well, responded immediately to our questions and reaching out. Excellent in every way!

Giant Redwoods

This gorgeous cottage is ideally located to visit giant redwoods, and visit the ocean in MANY California state parks, Henry Cowell, Big Basin, Wilder Ranch, Natural Bridges, and Nicene Marks are easily accessible. Kitchen is well equipped, property sits behind the main house, surrounded by beautiful trees. Even the day the temperature rose to 89 degrees, it was easy to cool down and sleep at night.

Ideal cottage in redwoods!

One of our favorite stays in Santa Cruz area!! Lynn is a fabulous host and has created an idyllic cottage - it was better than the photos… everything is new and lovely. It is very quiet and set back from the road. My adult kids (and their dog) joined us to attend UCSCz graduation ceremonies for our younger son. They slept on the pullout couch and we had the master bed. We liked having time to relax on the porch and the back courtyard. The kitchen had everything we needed too. Would definitely stay again - thanks Lynn!

Escape in the Redwoods

Very quiet, immaculate, decorated with care and upscale new appliances. Easy access to outdoors for pets. About 20 minutes to Pleasure Point in Santa Cruz. Well marked on highway Ca 9 but use caution if coming from the south to cross traffic. Best to drive to red light in Ben Lomond turn and head south on Ca 9 you can safely enter on the right side. Great hiking trails throughout the area. We loved it.

Very nice!

It was absolutely perfect! My husband and I stayed for a wedding at the county park. The groom ended up staying on the sofa after rehearsal night since we were located so much closer than everyone else! No touch was skimped on, the cottage was full of quality updates and I think I counted 10 places to sit in the quaint backyard alone. I also sat on the porch and none of the seating was covered in any kind of falling shrubs or bug remains. So clean! Also incredibly well stocked. I would only suggest adding conditioner, but maybe I just couldn't find it because everything else under the sun was available :-) Extremely close to town as well, and a few delivery options.
