Love the Isle of Wight
Have stayed at various accommodation in Bembridge over the years and they have generally not disappointed. This one was the same. A great base to explore the village and the many footpaths around the area. And with biblical rain showers having a pub within two minutes walk was a bonus.

Great location both within the village (very central) and village itself as a location for the Isle of Wight. The property had all appropriate amenities and the living space was well appointed. The email information from the host, was very informative and helpful for our stay.

Beautifully designed house in perfect location
Bembridge is a gorgeous village to stay in, by a beautiful stretch of coastline with amazing places to eat and lovely local shops. The house was in the heart of the village and really beautiful and comfy. So a perfect place to stay on the IOW, especially if you are also bringing a dog.

Wonderful location
The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance of shops pubs and eateries all first class. The harbour ,sandy beaches, and rock pools as well as stunning views of the Solent were all within easy reach.. Parking for large cars and SUVs was very difficult we had to park on the road. The property is not suitable for some disabled people as the stairs are steep and the toilet is on the ground floor. Nebertheless I would recommend it

A great stay!
We loved our recent stay at the cottage and Marion was a great and responsive host. The cottage was clean and has been tastefully decorated throughout. Overall, it had everything we needed and more. The beds were extremely comfy and the garden was an added bonus too. The cottage is situated in a quiet road very close to local pubs, shops and other amenities. We will definitely stay again. Thank you!

Short winter trip to Bembridge
Wanted a short break with somewhere that took dogs as well. Lovely cosy cottage, ideal location in village. Owner was very helpful. Only one thing we would change is the bed! Tad small and like sleeping on a trampoline, (sorry). All great otherwise thanks.

Centre of village
Clean beautifully decorated property in centre of lovely village. Good local produce shops, cafes and gift shops. Can walk to a beach in 10 minutes. Easy access by car to rest of the Island. Enjoyed the quirky house. The double bed (small)very comfortable mattress. Good linen. The kitchen is small but functional. Equipment limited if cooking for a family. Pleasant garden with bbq and seating. Highchair and fitting for stairgate although didn’t actually see a gate.Dog well catered for. I didn’t ask for the address until the last minute. I should have asked for a contact number as I found I couldn’t open the key safe but the owner was very responsive to messages.

Lovely Cottage
Very cosy and well equipped cottage, right in the heart of beautiful Bembridge village. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has been made to ensure that guests have everything that they might need for the duration of their stay. We were really grateful to have a travel cot and baby bath for our 3 month old daughter. There are lots of independent cafes and shops (and a lovely village pub) all within a couple of minutes stroll from the cottage. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Wonderful, clean, homely and great communication
We had a wonderful weekend stay. Everything we needed was available and any questions Marion was very quick to respond to. It's a lovely, very clean, cosy home and we really enjoyed ourselves and would love to visit again. Bembridge has some wonderful shops and we really enjoyed the beach too

Enjoyable stay in comfy cottage
Very much enjoyed our stay in the cottage with our dog, everything we needed was to hand for us in this cosy cottage plus only a minutes walk to the pub for a drink or a meal and they allow dogs inside we ate there twice also the fish and chip shop round the corner was also exellent. Used to walk to the bakery every morning for cakes to take to the beach where we went almost every day again great for dogs.Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Lovely Cosey Cottage Great Location
Just returned from a fantastic weeks holiday at this lovely cottage in Bembridge, Isle of Wight. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and had a lovely cosey feel to it, so it felt very much home from home. Enhancing this feeling is that it is bang up to date with today’s requirements with great free WiFi, interactive TV and even a wireless charging lamp in the front room. The lovely refitted kitchen was a little small but beautifully formed and had everything you could want for in a modern kitchen, as was the bathroom with its modern fresh look, and wonderful rain system shower head (as well as a regular type to use if you don’t want to get your hair wet). 2 large bedrooms one with a double bed the other 2 singles, all of which were very comfortable and certainly offered a good nights sleep. Lovely big dining room and lounge both beautifully furnished with some lovely pictures and paintings throughout the whole house, some of which were available to buy too. As for Bembridge itself what can I say other than what a lovely little village it is, a cracking local pub (about a minutes walk from the cottage) selling great ales, huge selection of Gins and absolutely gorgeous food. Then there’s the lovely traditional local shops including a Butchers, Bakery, Fishmonger, Delicatessen and lots more... There’s are some lovely places to eat too (Fox’s, The Shed, Lockslane, Lu San Chinese, The Spinnaker and a chippy) all in easy walking distance of the cottage. We will definitely be returning again one day hopefully soon.

Home from home - gorgeous cottage!
Lovely cottage with a wonderful homely feel to it and thoughtfully furnished. The garden was brilliant and a real sun trap. Great base for exploring the IOW and the beach (dog friendly) is just a 10 minute walk away. A lovely thought was leaving a basket with a dog blanket and teats etc in for our dog - little details like that make a holiday extra special. It was handy having the off street parking as the road would be tricky to park on otherwise, so a definite bonus. Bembridge itself is a great village with plenty of varied shops and places to eat. I would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone and we really hope to return there sometime.

Lovely cottage close to everything
The cottage is beautifully furnished and was really clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Nice sunny garden and just a short walk from centre of Bembridge and the beach. We have stayed in Bembridge many times and would definitely return. Please note driveway is narrow and only accommodates a very small car but it is possible to park on street.

A lovely, tastefully decorated and well equipped cottage in the delightful village of Bembridge!
We spent 4 nights at Drayton Cottage and wished we could stay longer. We loved the attention to detail inside the cottage with helpful tips to make our stay more enjoyable, a well equipped kitchen, towels and comfortable beds. The parking space was a real bonus as it can be tricky to park in Bembridge! Having been coming to Bembridge for years we know the village well and love it here - everything is within walking distance, great walks along the beach when the tide is out and we even got to see the lifeboat launch on training night which was a first! We would love to stay again when it is warmer so that we can make use of the lovely garden. Thank you.

Fabulous cottage with everything you need and close to local amenities
We had a wonderful long weekend at Drayton Cottage during February half term. The cottage is very well equipped and was very clean and inviting. We very much appreciated the attention to detail providing useful items for the dog and recommendations for good walks to go in the area. The local pub is friendly and the food reasonably good value. Overall a lovely stay and we would definitely like to return again soon. Thank you.

Delightful Cottage
This property is beautifully appointed and situated in a quiet road just off the village centre. There are shops nearby and plenty of local pubs and restaurants to choose from. If you like walking then the location is perfect.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location
We had a great stay in this lovely and cosy cottage. It is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and with plenty of character. Most importantly it is perfectly located - right in the middle of the very charming Bembridge village, a walking distance to the beach (which is gorgeous by the way!) and all the amenities. I would highly recommend it and we will definitely be back!

Lovely cottage full of quirky details.
The cottage is close to lots of great shops and restaurants. The enclosed garden was brilliant for us and our dog. The owners had obviously given a lot of thought to what their guests might need.We've loved it.

A lovely cottage perfectly situated just off the High Street
We have been to the Isle of Wight before but this is the first time we have stopped in Bembridge and this is the best property we have stopped in . Lots of lovely features and felt at home straight away we loved the garden it was a real sun trap , it was very easy to deal with Marion the owner . The cottage was a great base for us to visit the rest of the island and the shops in the village , Lu Shan restaurant and the village pub were all worth a visit . We would definitely stop in this property again.

Lovely cottage
We had a lovely relaxing stay with a good explore of the Island. We were fortunate to have very hot weather, so enjoyed all the sights. We enjoyed evening strolls by the sea with amazing sunsets. The cottage was lovely & clean. The garden was nicely enclosed with plenty of seating. The only appliance we missed was the dishwasher.

Convenient, comfortable cottage
Really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was very well equipped and clean. Delightful sunny garden, safe and enclosed for the dog. Just a short walk to the beach and shops. Love Bembridge.

Lovely house in the heart of Bembridge

Delightful cosy cottage
Recently spent a week in this charming property. Everything you could possibly need, together with an amazing locatiion just off the High Street of Bembridge. Great pub at the end of the road and one of the best butchers I have seen all a stones throw away. My two dogs adored it, with great walks from the house. All in all a great trip. We will be back. John and Jill, Paddy and Shaymus.

This is just as described. Nice size.
Great location. Easy walk to the sea and short walk out to the countryside. Shops really close. Nice garden with a strong turf bbq and furniture. Bus stops at the end of the road. Easy way to get about. All in all a great place to stay.

Superb.....
This is a lovely cottage, we (my wife and two dogs) enjoyed it so much we stayed for an extra 4 days. I know the IOW quite well and chose Bembridge as its probably the best coastal village on the Island. I chose this cottage because it's quietly located just off the High Street with some nice independant shops, restaurants and bars literally within a minute or two walk. I had one of my most memorable meals at Lockslane, check it out. The beach is a 10/15 minutes walk. The cottage is nicely decorated and furnished and was very very clean and very bright. There's also a nice enclosed sunny garden with modern garden furniture. We will definetly be back. Tim Pearse

Wonderful place to stay
The house was absolutely fantastic, so peaceful and quiet. The village is an ideal location to explore the island, Bembridge harbour is so picturesque and the cafés and pubs are so friendly and welcoming. The property is so quaint and tasteful we didn't want to leave. Everything you could ask for, and within walking distance, from the beach only a short walk away, to great food and the friendliest pub in the world. Live music in the pub by Bembridge harbour and you're never more than an hour from anywhere! We hope to move there in the future and this place is our favourite on the island, whether you like boats, walking or socialising this is the place for you! The house was spotless, so we'll decorated and everything you could wish for, from guides to the island to board games for the evening! TV and Internet for the kids, you know when a place is a winner when it kept both 18 year olds happy and occupied all the time, with no complaints. Even the dog loved it, just a shame we couldn't stay longer. From the Needles Park, Cowes, Newport, Ryde, St.Helen's, Sandown, and Shanklin, always somewhere to go and something to see. Shopping at Oasis, Chillies at the chilli farm, Amazon world, and for the younger end Blackgang and Robin Hill, all great and never a dull moment. The bank holiday scooter rally was fantastic to watch, such a shame we couldn't stay for the music festival! With history, theme parks, beaches, seaside all within such a small place what more could you want, I would recommend Ryde and a trip on the hovercraft and the whole place is spotless.

Pretty cottage in great location
The whole family were very happy, close to several beaches and spoilt for choice with trips ( we liked Dinosaur Isle, Rocket/ Needles military base, Zoo, Alpaca farm. The cottage is comfy and secure, good food and some wonderful walking routes. The shower ceiling is low, my partner is tall & couldn't stand up in there, but fine for kids and me. Things we particularly liked about cottage was the peaceful location, decor, garden+bbq, wifi and outdoors hose for dog.

Being an old cottage the bathroom ceiling is low in parts and we plan to reconfigure the shower to offer greater shower height very soon, so we hope you will come back and see us again.

Well maintained house, nice garden, ideally situated in the village.
Well presented clean house. We found the stairgate awkward and unnecessary and removed it. The owners information booklet was good. The location is perfect for walks from the house, no need to use the car, the bus service was excellent. Bembridge is a lovely village.

Comfortable cottage in pleasant little town.
Enjoyed our stay in your lovely, warm cottage. Clean and well-equipped apart from a couple more pans (with lids!) would be nice. If staying for more than a weekend, a few drawers in the bedrooms would also be handy. Liked the decor, with your interesting collection of boxes! Couldn't find a satisfactory way of securing the safety gate - you need an extension for it. Fortunately our dogs are well-behaved. Like the private, sheltered little garden but unfortunately didn't feel inclined to use it on a rather cold February weekend! I would recommend your property to friends and Bembridge is excellent for eating out, nice little shops and walks from the door (Nature Reserve), coast path and beaches.
