Great location in a quiet neighborhood on the south shore of Lake Belton. You are 4 minutes from Frank's Marina and 6 minutes from Westcliff park. A great lake getaway with great access to Ft. Cavazos (Ft. Hood), the VA Hospital in Temple, and all of Central Texas.

Due to the drought and water restrictions we are currently unable to install the new sod so we are offering a $50/night discount for any inconvenience this may cause.

What a great place! Very clean, softest towels I ever used, so much space. Response time of the owner was extremely fast. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely House!

1st the bad. Advertised as having a hot tub. It doesn't anymore. Not a big deal to our group. The bedrooms had a bed and a nightstand. No chest of drawers you'd expect when staying at a hotel. I advised the host of the inconvenience, who was deeply apologetic. Now the good. WOW! The place was spotless clean! I was so initially impressed by the cleanliness that I went on the hunt for dust, dirt, prints, etc . And I couldn't find ANYTHING. The bedrooms are BIG, each with plenty of closet space. Some had walk ins. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. How convenient! Towels were supplied, as was T. P. The house has either new or like new appliances, refrigerator/freezer with an ice and water dispenser in the door. It also has an automatic dishwasher, and a laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer. The neighborhood was VERY quiet. Very established residential area, with homes ranging from modest to WOW! This house IMHO is somewhere in the middle. Although the house is close to Lake Belton, you can't easily walk to it directly. It would be better to drive. Also, possibly the most important part.. THE HOST RESPONSIVENESS! OUR HERO AT 10PM ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! The house has an electronic lock, but one of our group failed to understand how it works and inadvertently locked us out with the standard manual lock. We didn't realize the mistake until 10pm. A call to the host had some come to our rescue in no time. We all loved the house! Would definitely stay again!
