"We had a party of 13 and the house had more than enough room to accommodate a large group. The home was very clean upon arrival and the welcoming greet and meet w Colleen at check in was a nice touch! I’d highly suggest booking in warmer weather when the decks can be utilized and screened in porch! The fire pit was a nice addition to our stay!"

"We enjoyed our time at this location and the owners were super communicative and very helpful. One thing I didn’t understand from the listing is that the bottom floor of this home is empty currently. also didn’t understand that the bathroom would be in the hallway and not enclosed in the two room and sitting area suite. Place was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. You can walk to town in 12 minutes and we enjoyed our stay."

"We had a great time staying here for a romantic getaway weekend. Apartment was very clean and a fun place to stay. It is right in the heart of downtown Galena a perfect location to enjoy shopping, fine dining, and beautiful historic architecture. Street Parking was a struggle, as there is no designated parking. The WiFi was very slow and spotty, so be prepared to unplug (mostly) when you visit. Great place to spend the weekend! Would highly recommend!"

"This place is a treasure. My husband, teen age son and our dog stayed at Aspen House for nearly a week and we truly did not want to leave. It was so comfortable, quiet and private yet only 15 minutes from Downtown Galena. Right outside the door were miles of beautiful hiking trails. We enjoyed the firepit and relaxing on the screened porch and as others have said, there are wonderful, comfortable spaces to gather or to be alone. Communication was fantastic. We will be back!"

"The location was Great, GPS off a lil bit. There was a messy tree that our shoes dragged little buds in all the time. The key box was a little hard to open. The pool was not used because we couldn't figure out what or where to go. There are a lot of stairs. It is on three different floors. Missing was a home feeling. While it would be a 15 minute or so walk to Main Street, we did drive as there was no way our old lady bones could have walked those hills especially with all our shopping bags..
