This gem is a beautiful Victorian home, a true one of a kind in Belmar! This is a great family oriented neighborhood. WE DO NOT RENT TO YOUNG GROUPS!! Prefer age minimum of at least 30 years old (we require proof of age). Walk into the front door and you enter our spacious living room (with pull out sofa) and big flat screen tv. You overlook the dining room which is open and sits 6 people comfortably. From the dining room you view the great kitchen with granite counter tops and gas stove for those who love to cook. The true gem on the first floor is the wrap around deck with views of Silver Lake. One of the best spots in the house to relax and unwind! 2nd floor features 3 bed rooms and 2 full bathrooms. The first bedroom is huge and has a queen bed with a door onto the second floor deck which has stunning ocean views. While lying in bed you also have views of Silver lake. The second bedroom has a full bed and you also enjoy views of the lake. The third bedroom is also very large and has a queen bed and its own private newly updated bathroom which is huge and has a stand up shower and separate soaking tub. There is also a very large full bathroom in the hallway on the 2nd floor. The third floor has 2 rooms, one with a queen bed and an open room (no door) with a day bed that opens to 2 twin or 1 king. There is a flat screen TV in this room if you just want to use it as a hang out space or kids’ corner/room. Our favorite spots for sure are the gorgeous wrap around decks with views of Silver Lake and the ocean. This space is ideal for reading a book or enjoying a beverage. There is also an outside shower at this house. You get 4 beach passes and beach chairs with this rental. RATES/AVAILABILITY: Winter rental available (would do monthly, weekly, bi-weekly, weekend, etc). Summer season weekly Saturday to Saturday in July/August. We also do weekend rentals all months EXCEPT July and August. Laundry is on the first floor and 3 Flat screen TV's are in the house. The driveway holds up to three cars. Sheets/towels are NOT included but can be rented from a local company. We provide pillows, quilts, and blankets. Included in the summer rental are four beach badges and some beach chairs. The house is an older victorian but very suitable for needs - the wrap around porch is awesome and rare for the area! Kitchen provided necessary items for cooking - owners were great to communicate with. Great for family to share but note that one bath is shared by 4 of the sleeping spaces unless you are sharing the one in the master bath - stairs might be hard to navigate for young children or those with walking concerns - all bedrooms require access by stairs. I would def. rent this place again. (Must bring your own sheets - which is the only drawback) - although they do provide a rental place for them. ##### shannon m. The house was as described, clean, and the perfect backdrop for wedding preparation pictures. The wraparound porch with the view of Silver Lake and the ocean was one of the highlights. It is an old Victorian but there is central air in most of the rooms besides the very top floor. Linens and towels were not provided as noted in the listing; this arrangement is common along the Jersey shore. The landlord recommended a local provider, Blue Cottage Linens, which did a great job. Communication with the landlord was great and there were no issues during check in or checkout. We're not a typical Belmar party crowd so the landlord had no problem hosting a wedding party, and we had no issues with the neighbors by hanging out on the front porch late and not being too loud. Ample street parking, at least in late May / early June. Great experience and really added to our wedding weekend. Highly recommend! ##### Brian B. Beautiful home close to the beach with various eating options close by. Three car driveway and street parking available for all of our vehicles. It’s an older home but has been modernized inside without compromising the beauty of the home. Very clean, comfy beds. Lots of charm and character. Everything you need is here and most importantly, the host is great, very accommodating and always available to help. Our favorite spot is the downstairs porch with comfy lounge chairs and a table/chairs for us to enjoy coffee, snacks, aperitif and dinner overlooking the lake. Thanks for a great stay.
