The adult only spa hotel was nice, peaceful and relaxing.The view from the room was stunning, with the added bonus of kangaroos outside our balcony at dawn. Breakfast buffet was a bit strange - turkey bacon... We ate dinner at the Bistro which was good value for money but chicken snitzel was undercooked - they gave us a refund. We were charged $500 for carpet cleaning due to a small food stain (blueberries). While I acknowledge the stain occurred, the charge was completely disproportionate. A full carpet steam clean was done by an external contractor at a cost of $500, with no attempt to consider a more reasonable solution like spot cleaning. I raised this professionally and requested a fair review, but the hotel refused to reconsider and closed the matter without any flexibility. Also, during the stay, the room was not properly cleaned on one occasion and we had to raise it. It was improved the next day, but it should not have happened in the first place. Overall, the property is fine, but the way issues are handled — especially charging excessive cleaning fees — is disappointing. Would recommend future guests to be cautious."
