"I felt I was home at my family's lake. The only thing that made it very tricky was the driveway because it's extremely steep. However, when you get used to it, it's not bad and great exercise when you have to walk your dog!The hosts are extremely responsive. The home was amply supplied with appliances, bedding, and there was even a basket with dog bedding for us to use.Note that if you are someone who has difficulty you with steps, this has a steep set of steps in the middle of the house to get to the bottom floor. If you have a toddler, I would bring a baby gate for the stairs.We didn't use the kayaks, but that looked really like it would be fun. I think we'd like to come back and explore further. This lake is quiet and beautiful. You can see herons, fish, birds, water, snakes, and other wildlife.We even saw a few fireflies for the first time in many years, which we found delightful"

"The most perfect experience! Attention to detail is top notch, our host was so thoughtful and thought of everything we could possibly need for our stay and had wonderful suggestions for things to do during our time there. Property was clean, well decorated, quiet and relaxing, and we loved having coffee and dinner on the back patio. We saw deer every day and even a groundhog. The location is a short drive down the hill into town, easy for groceries or walking trails. Will definitely stay here again! "

"The house was clean and spacious with nice furniture. The deck had a wooded view with plenty of seating. The primary bedroom was nicely appointed as was the bath. We were able to park in the garage which was a plus for us. The host was very attentive and responded quickly whenever we reached out to him. Great place to stay! "
