One of the worst Malmaison stays i've had. You can forgive a lot with a great customer experience and unfortunately that was not on offer here.
Lobby clearly going through refurb which is fine but no prior notice given so you are checking in beside people eating and drinking, which is ok.
Staff at reception when we checked in were doing a job rather than providing an experience. Rushed, uninterested and distant.
Breakfast - avoid avoid avoid. The food is average at best and you can go to St Georges market and have quality coffee and breafast while enjoying the place. The staff at breakfast were a shambles. Cleaned our table (half anyway) then i went to sit down and ended up cleaning my own chair which was covered in the last couples breakfast. It took 40 minutes for us to order brealfast, which happened because i approached one of the ladies to do so. I could go on but its pointless.
Invest in trianing and ensure staff are dressed in clean clothes and teach them some service manners.
Thisnis my secomd tay in 6 months and the service levels have not changed.
Just my opinion however.
