Apartamentos Alojería Béjar

The history of our home is truly unique. It’s located on the first floor of a building in the Historic District, in what was once the Bejarana Jewish Quarter. Its west facade features one of the region’s most distinctive characteristics. It is covered with Arabic-style tiles, which were installed to protect the facade from the rain.

It is divided into two units that belong to the same property. To the left of the entrance is the apartment, and to the right is a small studio. They are separated by the main entrance to the upper floors, and both feature the characteristic elements of buildings in the Historic District: stone masonry in perimeter walls over 60 centimeters thick, solid brick, and adobe brick in the interior partitions.

​During the renovation, we sought to preserve the building’s original appearance. We have respected the unique character of both the building and the Historic District.

​In the main apartment, we have arranged a kitchen and dining area that includes a bathroom; together with a living room and a bedroom, these spaces make up the accommodation. All of this is spread over just over 45 square meters, providing a comfortable space for families to stay.
