Die Angestellten haben gutes Englisch gesprochen und waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist verkehrstechnisch sehr gut gelegen. Der Bahnhof Beijing Railway Station ist fußläufig erreichbar. Einzig, das Hotel zu finden, ist etwas schwierig, da es in einer Seitengasse liegt. Interessant ist zudem die Ausstellung über den Briten Edgar Snow, der früher an dieser Stelle gelebt hat.
