Beds were rather hard but the decent chinese restaurant on the ground floor supplied the room service with a passable menu. The overall condition of the hotel is poor - once you get past the lobby, the corridors are dimly lit and there is an odd odour in the air. Have been back a few times but not for a few years, and so very disappointed to see how it has gone downhill. We knew we were getting 'no window,' but the room was so warm. The tower-type 'fan' didn't help a whole lot. The toilet never flushed properly, which we should have reported. But we thought the cleaning staff would have noticed after the first day or two. The doorman was helpful in getting us taxis, and we know the neighborhood. But ya gotta fix that plumbing and make the rooms cooler and brighter.
