The service, the shuttle, the condition, everything was pretty bad. For hotel that positions itself as an "Airport hotel" I would expect a little bit more "Any language other than Chinese" speaking personnel. First of all the shuttle: Nowhere near to be found, airport info booth never heard of this hotel and dont know where to point to their shuttle. When when you call on your own to the hotel and start speaking English - they just hang up on you. Not once. Twice. If you manage to find the shuttle, the drivers not even remotely pretending to look like they know what customer service is. A mother with two children and a baggage - they didn't offer any help even if you pay them. You get into hotel and the smell of some chemicals is the smell is nauseous. When asked what's going on and if we can get a different room the answer is that they are fighting pests problem and all rooms are treated with the solution so there are no "good" rooms and it is so late in the night you cannot go to a different hotel. Suddenly you realize why all the rooms you passed by are with open doors and open windows. And it is in upper 90sF (30C) outside, so opening a window is killing the air condition, but if you don't open it will kill you along with pests. So yeah. The airport transfer takes a lot longer than it says on the website, it also only runs once an hour, not really that helpful. I made and paid for a reservation on line the front desk could not find it. I had to pay again. We had a room on the first floor it was disgusting, there was a smell of something very disturbing in that room. We awake to a breakfast that had very little food. Basically this hotel is a hostel. I felt my safety was compromised by the location of the hotel. The staff barely speaks English. Finally, to get into the city it took over an hour and a half each way with train changes. The transfer bus is great, but only if somebody answers the phone who can speak English. Otherwise, it may be better to get a cab. Check in was easy. We booked business room (two single beds) as looked a bit more updated from the pictures on the site. This is described as a basic hotel ; that it is. Shower was great and bed comfortable. However, walls are paper thin so sleep was interrupted. The flight was delayed, but some in the larger group spoke Chinese and telephoned ahead to let the hotel that we would arrive late. All but one of 6 in the group had prepaid their rooms as individuals. When we arrived, the staff did not speak English, but we had brought with us two native speakers to insure we would all get a room. When we arrived we were told only 3 rooms were available. The was one woman in the group, prepaid wit a double room but unrelated to any of the rest of the group. Finally 4 rooms were found, requiring that all the men in the party could stay together in shared rooms even though five had prepaid. All had different departure times. Check in at the hotel took an hour during which another single man came in and was given another free room.
