The service at checkin and checkout was exceptional. The staff arranged a taxi for us in the morning. The room was clean and fairly comfortable - my only complaint was the bed was a bit hard. But we were only there one night. Very noisy - could hear people talking, coughing, vomiting in adjacent rooms and from the corridor. Laundry was a hassle. It has western standards, but at the same time very local. It's 10 minutes walking from the Metro line 8, which in my opinion connects the most interesting parts of Beijing.
