The guy at the front desk happily helped me navigate some stuff in Beijing. The neighborhood is nice, especially if you need to get to an embassy. There's a cool outdoor eating area a few blocks away that's worth checking out. It's about a 1/4 mile walk to a subway station, which is nice. The hotel, however, is old and not well updated. The lights in the room kept blinking on and off and the TV is very dated.
