The house shows some wear inside and out but overall is a nice roomy home with plenty of places to sit and relax. It is advertised as sleeping eight, which it does, but there’s only two full baths, one in the master bedroom and one shared by two bedrooms. The fourth bedroom has no direct access to a bathroom, having to use the half bath downstairs or when the other two when the bedrooms are vacant. As we were two families, this arrangement was ok. The kitchen and dining area are large and well lighted, unfortunately, this is where we encountered two issues. The glass stovetop was cracked making one of the four burners useless. Sadly, no one before us told the host until we did. The other issue involved ants coming in through the kitchen window and crawling around the sink. Fortunately, one of our group was able to stop and get ant killer which solved our ant problem. I sent a message to the host about the ants; he got back to me the next day saying he has a pest service treat the house once a month. Two days later the pest guy came and treated the house again and someone came to take a photo of the stove. All in all, we had a good time as the house is centrally located in a quiet area and offers a great view of the mountains from one of the two balconies.
