First floor features light and bright open living, dining, and kitchen, open front porch, half bath and utility room, back screened porch, and large patio in fenced backyard complete with charcoal grill and outdoor seating. The first floor Carolina room is furnished with 2 twin beds and 2 six foot sleeping sofas, perfect for children or small adults. Second floor features Master suite with king bed and two other bedrooms, one with king and one with two twins, and a second full bathroom. The walkway to the town of Beaufort is excellent. Lots of restaurants and shopping. The walk is faster than sitting in the traffic to get over the bridge. Also, the park across the street is great for watching the sunset. Location is perfect to see all areas. Hunting Island State Park is a must - great walking trails and beach. Lots of shark teeth, too. Stop by Seaside Grill on the way or way back from Hunting Island State Park for a great meal for the seafood lovers and the non seafood lovers and vegetarians. It is perfectly located to everything we wanted to do. It is a block from the boat landing. The waterfront park is an easy 3/4 mile walk. Conveniently located to Publix, restaurants, parks, etc. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. This house is definitely on my list to stay at the next time we go to Beaufort. The only drawback is the downstairs bathroom doesn't have a shower, so the people staying downstairs still need to go upstairs for bathing. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, Kitchen is well equipped although the stove & micro need an update if you plan to cook a lot of meals. We stayed for a month so eating out every day was not an option. If you have more that 4 people in your family ask for an alternate dining table which now only seats 4\. Outdoor BBQ would be possible but only a small kettle charcoal option was provided. No table or chairs for outdoor dining located in front of the back garage (locked storage area) on a concrete pad. Fully fenced in backyard was definitely not hospitable for any recreation & be careful at night with the resident racoons. A mystery critter gained access to the attic during our stay and decided to be a poltergeist at night. No worries, it left after two nights but the owner might want to check for a nest in the attic. This is the perfect place when bringing the boat since the boat landing is at the end of the street. It is also very convenient to the waterfront park. We arrived a little early and it was no problem to get in early. Tina was very prompt in responding on early check in. Everyone had space to be together and separate throughout the stay. Very homie and close to a lot of things. The trees provide a great cover for the front porch. Washer and dryer were extremely loud. Overall, for the 2 1/2 days we were there, it met our needs.My only suggestion would be to hire cleaner.I ##### Amy H. It was so convenient to just walk across the bridge into town! We enjoyed our entire stay! Very "at home" vibe. Love that it came with AC, Wi-Fi, a grill and so many extra linens! Very good distance from Parris Island and downtown Beaufort.
