We could walk to shops and restaurants. The house and furnishings are very attractive, and it has been made as comfortable as possible without a major renovation. Everything we needed was there. A few suggestions: for past vacation rentals I have been given a number I could call before arriving, in case there were any problems. For example: all our designated parking spaces were occupied, and we had to find out who was using them. It was colder than usual in February and sometimes a couple rooms would be cold but that was the only issue we had. You do have to go through other bedrooms upstairs to get to bathrooms and other bedrooms. The room with a queen bed and 2 twins is at the top of the stairs and you have to walk through it to get to the bathroom and then the room that has a queen bed with one twin. And then there is another bedroom on the other side of upstairs that has a king bed and you have to walk through it to get to another bedroom that has a full bed and the master bath is off the room with the full bed. But we were all good friends so it was fine. But the house has plenty of space. ##### Sherri F. The house had plenty of room and was extremely comfortable for all. Great beds! We loved that it was so close to everything in downtown Beaufort and all was within walking distance. We enjoyed walking to check out the different restaurants and coffee houses. We liked this place so much that we plan to do the same house next year.
