This charming weekend getaway is 12 minutes from the center of Woodstock. On 8+ acres, furnished with comfortable elegance, the house sits in a sunny field surrounded by trees and sky. An ideal getaway with modern amenities, it features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate cabin, outdoor shower, deck, terrace, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, a private path to a year round creek.
Quiet and peaceful, our home is perfect to relax, read, write and in general "chill." Hiking, biking, yoga, music, cultural activities, restaurants and shops all near by. At home, multiple indoor and outdoor areas to lounge make it hard to leave. Hammocks are well-placed throughout the property and down by the creek. Two bikes and a big tube to float in the creek available for your use.

Home away from home
After spending the first several months of the pandemic in our small apartment in New York City, my husband, young daughter and I spent the month of August at this lovely property. For some of the time, we worked remotely—the internet was excellent—and at other points, we were on vacation. Because of covid, we didn’t want to venture out too much to area attractions, but we didn’t even have to. Everything was so comfortable and homey and welcoming right there at the house. The property is in a peaceful, stunning spot with a seasonal creek running alongside the home. We got lucky and after a rainstorm, the creek filled up and my daughter spent hours playing in it. We read in the hammock, played yard games, and made s’mores at the fire pit. I can’t say enough positive things about our host Kirby, who went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. My only hesitation in leaving this review is that we want the place to ourselves!
