"The location was excellent. The property was not very well maintained and nighttime lighting was terrible. Our flight did not arrive until 9:30 PM and by the time we arrived at the property, close to midnight, had a very difficult time finding the unit. There was no lighting showing the building numbers, and pathway lighting was at a bare minimum. We were walking up and down pathways trying to find numbers, some of which were hidden by shrubs. Knowing the arrival time, as it had been discussed with staff, someone should’ve left a light on, at least on the outside of the building to allow easy access. Some of the windows did not function and some were missing slats, since they were jalousie style. The mattresses were awful. The two twin beds felt as though we were sleeping on springs and had no padding. The last disappointing feature was the cockroaches in our luggage, and bed, which were found the day of our departure. The unit is in desperate need of a fresh, and make sure you bring an extra fan with you, because the one floor fan besides the single ceiling fan above the couch, was not enough to move the air in this unit."

"Our family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We love being away from the busy beaches and having our own beach in the backyard. Sometimes the water is brown but other times it is clear, depending on the tide and currents. The beds were comfortable and the a/c in each room helped tremendously. It was great to have access to do laundry during our stay. We were there during Tropical storm Lala and besides a few broken branches, the property didn't sustain any damage. The property manager was so helpful and very responsive. Overall it was a great stay!"

"Rustic, great experience, a lot of fun. There are dogs on the property, but they are friendly and it was a blast. Would highly recommend. Remember, it’s a Glamping Yurt, so meter your expectations. We knew what it was going into it, and we really enjoyed it."

"What a surprising and delightful spot on Hawaii’s North Shore! Close to the beach, fruit trees on property, and there was a trampoline for our kid to jump on! Short drive to some really cool spots in Waimea and Hale’iwa. We LOVED our stay here."
