"What a fantastic property! We absolutely loved our stay at Lucy's property and everything was exactly as described. The views are out of this world - we couldn't get enough of them over our morning coffee and whilst taking in the sunset in the evening. The apartment is well appointed and quite comfortable. Our 10 year old slept on the pull out bed in the lounge and declared it to be nearly as comfortable as his bed at home. The air conditioning worked really well and was most welcome considering the temperatures were in the mid 30s every day of our stay.The pool was a greatly loved feature from our family's perspective and whilst it was busy at times, it was more than big enough for everyone. We didn't do any cooking at the apartment but it seemed to have all the essentials one would need for preparing simple meals. The stairs were exactly as described - exactly 125 steps from the parking spot to the apartment. They are definitely doable with any reasonable level of mobility and fitness but probably not ideal for the elderly or those with certain health conditions. Access to the parking spot was super easy as well - it's a fairly steep road but not narrow and manageable with our larger vehicle.We found the City supermarket a few blocks away super convenient and it had everything we needed. The bakery/local takeaway across the road from the supermarket, Pekara AS, was an absolutely brilliant find as their food was delicious and very reasonably priced."

"I'd like to start out by saying the staff was incredible. Valentina and Marija were the best, and we miss them already. The hotel is almost brand new and pretty luxurious. We had a room with a view that we will not soon forget...overlooking the gorgeous mountains. The breakfast was one of the best continental breakfasts I have ever seen. In general, the chef was 10/10, great food!!! The internet was fast. The room was perfect. It was huge and clean. However, the TV didn't work for half our trip, which really only sucked at night; the hotel worked diligently to fix it! The pool was cold, refreshing, and clean. The service was perfect. The location is...tricky. It's not close to Old Town, so if walkability matters to you, this really isn't your hotel. It's not really walkable to much aside from the little marina area at the bottom of the hill/mountain (10 min walk). The beach is in the area, it's not as close as they make it appear in pics. Also, bring water shoes (rocky beaches) and a lot of Euros because that's all the taxis accept!"
Modern Apartment with Sea View — 1 Minute to the Sea

"The location is fantastic for a quieter Kotor experience. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped with everything for cooking and washing clothes. On the downside there is only one air conditioner in the main room of the unit. If you are travelling with 3 or more people, you must sleep with the master bedroom door open to access the AC during the night. The only bathroom is also located through the master bedroom making it very inconvenient for a third party guest to access during the night."

"Kotor is amazing bit the staff of Forza Mare makes our vacations so wonderful. They're so kind and helpful. They're make you feel like VIPs all day and the food at the restaurant for dinner is amazing. They're help before arriving with some reservations that i want to do for activities making my life easier plus 24 h help. Plus the view from my room and for the restaurant make you wants to stay forever. For sure I will be back to Kotor and stay in Forza Mare. Thanks for everything"

"A very mixed experience at Palazzo del Mare....a tad Fawty Towers! The hotel website describes a restaurant on site. This was not the case and the kitchen was still being built when we were there. The manager pointed out to us that other restaurants were only a short walk away - which wasn't really the point. The hotel looks great at the outset but has the feeling that it was thrown up while skipping many corners. Temperatures at night were in the low 30s and the air conditioning in our room shut down at 3am three nights in a row and didn't return. Despite advertising that their reception is 24 hours, there was never anyone available in the middle of the night. After the first sleepless night, we let the lovely staff at reception know and they told us the engineer was coming to look at it. After the second sleepless night, we were a little more peeved and were told we could speak to the manager 'down at the bar'. He offered us a free drink which we declined and promised it wouldn't happen again. Sure enough it did happen again and was only fixed at 4am. On communicating that this wasn't good enough, we were comp'd our spa massages and assured a refund of one night stay. He took our bank details but 5 weeks later, no such refund and he has ignored our messages. Overall: beautiful views, lovely reception staff, poor breakfast, corners cut (e.g. bathrooms have no shelves and lighting is non existent, shower floods room after use) and extremely unprofessional manager."

"Hôtel luxueux, personnel affable et prévenant. La vieille ville de Kotor est à 1 heure de marche donc un peu excentré mais en bord de mer. Excellente expérience qui vient toutefois avec un coût. Je le recommande chaudement."

"Staff were very helpful and the bar was open late and they did food which was great. However the room and building could have been cleaner, and it felt a little run down. Small things like lack of lift made an big impact. Also pool is away for bar area so you don't get anyone coming to offer drinks (its up a hill beside a different building). That being said I think if you ordered at the bar the helpful staff would bring it to you. It's also a little out of the way and the bus service is not great. Overall for the price and fantastic staff it's perfectly fine. Just go in with your eyes open."
