"Our rental hosts, Doug and Nancy were great communicators and gave us a seamless check-in, check out process. The treehouse was perfect for our family of four, beds were comfortable, home was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were family games, and a super fun beach themed decor in the home. We enjoyed using the bikes to get around the island. Very easy to ride to the beach and pool. Walking to the beach was also easy. We saw lots of wildlife from our own deck."

"We found our experience as an extended family of grandparents through grandchildren a delight. If we had any questions our host was quick to reply. The updates, cleanliness, flow of the residence were beyond expectations.The kitchen was well outfitted, I was able to make homemade pancakes for my grandgirls. We found the community delightful, the foliage made it very attractive as a neighborhood and convenience to the pool and beach was a plus. Thanks for a great stay."

"The Villa was great and the sunset views from the patio were amazing. It’s a very short walk to the beach and the Villa has plenty of beach supplies (beach chairs, umbrella, etc.) for you and your family to use. We even watched some deer eating one morning in the sand dunes that was just across from the patio too. The host is very nice and communicative. Parking is not an issue either, but it’s a little bit of a trip to go to the grocery store. The island is beautiful and you will enjoy staying here!"

"Overall we had an incredible stay at the Pelican Watch Villas! The view is to die for and having a toddler, the easy beach access right from our back door was perfect! We ran into an issue with the A/C where it was locked at 82 with a PIN that only the owner had but Carolina One maintenance was great and came out to help by reaching out to the owner to try to get it fixed as soon as possible!The biggest complaint and struggle is the check-in process. The club tells you to go to a certain office to get your parking pass but was closed when we got there even though the website said they would be open. Then when you get to the property there is a key pad on the door lock but that doesn’t actually work, the key is in a key box next to the door that you put the code into. Once you get the key out of the box it is incredibly difficult to get into the door knob. The door itself also doesn’t seem very secure due to the deadbolt being removed from the door. We did however love our stay here and would return again!"
