"The room was nice and comfy, literally felt like the comfort of my own home but away from home. Breakfast doesn’t consist of many options but is set to the same meals so be aware that you’ll be eating the same thing for breakfast for the duration of your stay. The staff were so friendly and so helpful at every point, communication was top notch too as they spoke good English. The hotel is at the end of the strip, directly across is the Beach with free sun beds. Room gets cleaned and refreshed every day which is definitely a nice thing to have. Overall I’d definitely recommend this hotel."

"Sol Tropikal was a nice spacious hotel to stay at. The bathroom was very nice, extra large bed and a massive balcony. The room came with a large sofa as well. The cleaners are very good and mopped the floors everyday. Generally very nice staff and atmosphere. I would say a good family friendly hotel. Easy short walk/access to pool and beach. Adult and child pool very good water level. Very enjoyable for all age. Clean beach and everything well maintained, would 100% recommend. Breakfast was very basic we only had it 2 days out of the 6 day stay as it wasn't something we would want to eat, wish they had more authentic items like borek or different. Just a small variety of basic stuff so not interesting for adults or kids. Therefore didn't eat at the hotel at any time. Outside there is local shops and restaurant (halal) but we chose to travel around Durres for restaurants. There is no porters at this hotel therefore expect to deal with your own luggage, they did help us as we had two young children in prams which was nice of them. No iron in the room but we asked house keeping and they gave us one which was very good. Reception is in a different building to the actual room we stayed at. It is located around 5 mins away with no staff in the building, so each time you need to go to reception you have to travel to another building. Generally very good."

"Thr Vila Belvadear in Durrës, Albania was an absolutely fantastic place to stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their kindness, professionalism, and constant willingness to help with anything we needed. Their friendly attitude really made the whole experience feel personal and relaxing. The food was another highlight of our stay — fresh, delicious, and full of variety. Every meal felt carefully prepared, whether enjoying breakfast in the morning or relaxing with dinner after a day by the sea. The poolside atmosphere was especially enjoyable, with a calm and comfortable setting that made it easy to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. One of the best parts of the hotel is its excellent location. It’s just a short walk from the beautiful beachside promenade, making it incredibly convenient for evening walks, restaurants, cafés, and enjoying the vibrant seaside atmosphere of Durrës. Overall, Thr Vila Belvadear offers the perfect combination of warm hospitality, great food, relaxing poolside vibes, and a fantastic location near the beach. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Albania and looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay."
