"I had a great and comfortable weekend stay at Bethany beach hotel. My room was double queen beds, so plush! I did not partake in the free buffer breakfast but I did enjoy the 2 complimentary adult beverages that came with the room. The front desk team is friendly. The hotel also gave me some vouchers for the nearby botanical gardens and mini golf behind the hotel. This hotel is perfect and close proximity to Bethany Beach and OC! I will be back."

"Everything was great"

"The location was perfect. The host was very nice, available and very responsive when answering questions, the house was fully stocked with necessities, the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, the furniture in the rooms were a quite dusty, the trash cans needed lids to keep the crows and other critters out, we had to go out several times to clean up outside property, because the crows were tearing into the trash bags. After a few days going up and down the steps to eat together and to cook a full meal got to be a bit much, but overall the property was big enough and spacious enough accommodate our needs, the location couldn't have been any better. We agreeded that we would rent again, providing the cleaning was done better, if there were screen doors and lids for the trashcans. The location and property was on point, it was easy access to everywhere we needed or wanted to go. "

"Everything was fine but key was not were we where told it would be but unit was unlocked. Found key in the kitchen.Call host three time but near got through and she didn’t return calls. First to find out were key was last two to see what we should do with key because it wouldn’t fit to box. Finally left key in kitchen and door unlocked. Called host, again no answer to tell her unit was unlocked and key was in kitchen were we found it."

"Terrific house - spacious, clean, well-appointed and exactly as advertised. Our group of 16 had plenty of space in bedrooms and common areas and enjoyed the many amenities (foosball, pool table, big grill). And it is just two blocks to the sand... Will happily return."

"The Pilot House was absolutely wonderful for our family. A welcoming home with the bonus of a relaxing pool area where we spent much of our time. Our host Rosemary was super responsive and had great information about the area. Bethany is a fabulous beach with a small town feel and the location of this house was fabulous ... close enough to be convenient, but a little ways away from the noise and bustle of town. I highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!! "

"It was good! The house itself is gorgeous, and you can’t beat the location. We had a few minor issues upon arrival- when opening a door the entire doorknob fell off in my hand. The cabinet that hid where the trash is in the kitchen was off its hinge and wouldn’t stay closed, so the trash was always exposed to the room. My sister and I each took one shower and then there was no soap left, I asked the host if there was more somewhere and they said only a starter pack is given and any more would need to be purchased (they did say drop off more soap after explaining that we had hardly used it and it was almost empty when we arrived, but it was incredibly watery). The front door was also broken at the bottom.For the cost of the stay, I did not expect the amount of disrepair we noticed, even though each bit was kind of minor. Seeing multiple broken things made it seem like it wasn’t as high end as the price would imply. Otherwise, everything else was great! Loved the proximity to the beach and that the owner had towels and chairs available."

"The house was perfect for our little getaway. Great location. The screened in porch looking at the canal was a great place to hang out and play games and have our meals. "

"We enjoyed our stay here, it’s about 2.5 miles from the beach. There is an outdoor shower on the side of the house. House was clean and provided everything we needed (toilet papers, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoos and conditioners, etc). Washer/dryer available for use. We did not try the grill. House also has beach items like umbrellas and beach chairs. Only downside was It was a bit inconvenient to have to bring our own towels, pillow cases, and bed sheets, but for sanitary we were ok with that."
