"We had a wonderful stay at this Crystal Lake home! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and we really enjoyed cooking on the nice gas grill on the front porch several evenings.Sherrie was an excellent host—very responsive and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. When the dock became covered with bird droppings, she promptly sent someone out to clean it, which we really appreciated.The location is fantastic, with a beautiful private beach area on Crystal Lake and convenient access to Sleeping Bear Dunes and the Platte River float. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing Northern Michigan getaway!"

"Absolutely a beautiful and well maintained house! From the time we arrived, the grandkids were occupied for hours with the sandy beach. The bedding and towels were nice quality and the beds were comfortable for all. The kitchen was adequately equipped and not overstuffed with the odds and ends of the owners discards like you see in so many rentals.The only two drawbacks were:1.). The steps … Lots and lots of steps! It was manageable if everyone is in good shape but getting large suitcases and heavy stuff into the house was quite a chore.2.). Only two TV’s. When it rained for two straight days, we were all stuck watching children movies on the TV in the living room. The only other TV was in the master bedroom. It would be nice if one could’ve been placed down on the 1st level, but I wouldn’t call it a deal breaker. I also wish one of the basement bedrooms had a king bed. Two of the adults in our group had to sleep in the bunks and they did not enjoy that experience!But, it was an overall very pleasant place to stay."

"It’s amazing that a property can be so close to others and yet so private! The unit is tastefully decorated. Although the unit highlighted blinds, they are not room darkening, so if that matters, bring an eye mask. Beautiful stay."

"Spending a week enjoying the beauty of Crystal Lake from this charming home quickly became a favorite with our family. We spent more time than we ever have just enjoying the house and outside amenities. The star gazing over Crystal Lake was amazing! Every little detail inside and outside was thought of for the guests enjoyment. It was just perfect! Our host Katy was friendly, thoughtful and sincere. We give this property a five star rating. Our next stay can't come soon enough!"
