"This villa was nothing short of exceptional & truly unforgettable. The moment we arrived-Ljiljana & Ivo welcomed us w/such genuine warmth we instantly felt like we were coming home rather than renting.The property is stunning-beautifully maintained & filled w/thoughtful touches that elevate every moment. Every corner of the property reflects their care that made us feel incredibly special. Especially delightful was the seafront position w/a private sun deckmooring spot-used 8 times during our 30-day stay as family members came & left.There are panoramic terraces, an infinity pool overlooking the Adriatic & multiple outdoor lounges & shaded dining terraces. Also heartful was a weekly cleaning-it was a reflection of how deeply L/I care about their guests’ comfort-coming into a perfectly refreshed home each week.There is a generously stocked outdoor summer kitchen- which was the center of most everyday. When needed the villa is close to the quiet/charming harbor seaside village-Bobovišća. A 20-min/walk offers 3 surburb harbor cafés & an adequately stock store which we used often.Also moving was the kindness & generosity L/I showed during our visit-going above & beyond-It’s rare to find hospitality that feels this heartfelt/authentic.It is more than a place to stay—it’s a place to breathe, slow down, explore & feel completely cared for. We left w/full hearts-beautiful memories & already dreaming of returning. TU L/I for making our time here so special."

"Villa Gudelj was absolutely perfect: the location, the villa architecture, kind and welcoming hosts and amenities were fantastic. We had three generations very happy with activities: biking, kayaking, a nice walk for a morning coffee at one of the local restaurants and privacy that is hard to find. The beach close by is stunning and the water is beautiful. Then the pool came in handy in the meantime, when we were choosing to stay closer to the house.We were able to use the grill and even cook under the coals, which was amazing! Mr. Gudelj and his family were incredibly kind and helpful and we felt at home. There was nine of us and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.Milna, the nearby town was great to eat out in and get any groceries in a pinch and locals are very nice. A beautiful and peaceful area of Croatia to have a family reunion in! There are a few restaurants nearby as well, with fantastic food and just a short walk away.I would highly recommend the location and our amazing hosts! We would come back in a heartbeat! This was my husband’s and my kids’ first experience on the Croatian coast and we couldn’t picked a better place for it."

"Beautiful villa in a perfect location. We could always find a part of the property in sun or shade, depending on preference. The view from the upstairs terrace was spectacular at all times of the day. Easy walk into Sutivan, bit harder coming back up the hill, but justified the ice-cream. Enjoyed the pomegranates, lemons, figs, peppers and tomatoes from the garden. Boris was a very kind and helpful host."

"This is a stunning location. We loved the view from the house and the ability to go down to the clear sea and swim/snorkel. Loads of fish to see and we even spotted an octopus! Toni and Sime were very responsive and helpful throughout. Toni put us in touch with a boat rental company and we hired a small boat for 4 days that was delivered to us and collected, with a mooring in front of the house. We would very much recommend doing this for small trips around the bay and one longer trip to Milna. The house is well equipped but a bit worn and we would have liked more comfortable bedding. Although Sime did tell us where to find additional pillows and blankets it was disappointing on arrival. Also mosquito netting on the beds and fans would help and allow for sleeping with windows open and no air conditioner (although air conditioner is obviously a plus when it gets really hot).We were 4 using the three up stairs bedrooms. I think if we were more and needing the cramped downstairs bedroom we would be disappointed.Overall a really great place to stay and we would definitely consider coming back. We were very sad to leave. Two final additions that would have made it even better is a cafetière for making coffee (there is Nespresso and a barista style coffee maker so no overall criticism and only a personal preference) and a couple of stand up paddle boards provided as part of the house. These are relatively cheap to buy but expensive to rent. The bay is perfect for them."
