"Had one of the apartments and it was very handy to have your own facilities; even had an Indian takeaway one night instead of a restaurant meal. Rather small and basic table/stools but generally very good"

"The accommodation was very good for our family of eight, plenty of rooms which were comfortable. All the amenities in the kitchen were ample. It is a very quirky apartment with loads of interesting features. The location is very central for beach and local area. One of the downside was the owners dogs barking around 8am every morning. Also because it is an old chapel there was a lot of areas which had cobwebs. Overall we enjoyed our week."

"Great location for accessing Llyn Penisula, Snowdonia and West Wales. Beautifully clean and well equipped. Ff road parking great. Stained glass window beautiful but meant it was rather dark and hot during a heat wave. Shower a little temperamental -tricky to maintain a constant temperature. Communication felt little overbearing at times but that maybe personal choice. Overall, lovely open plan space suitable for family visiting the area, with handy access to local shops, access to the beach and sensibly priced."

The ruins of imposing Criccieth Castle are a superb example of a native castle. Built during the reign of Llywelyn the Great, one of the greatest Welsh statesmen of the Middle Age, these spectacular ruins, dramatically situated on the headland between two sandy beaches, tower over the blue waters of the bay. The castle looks down on the pretty seaside resort of Criccieth, and offers a vista from which to survey the North Cambrian Coast and the Llŷn Peninsula of North Wales.
