Bayview Village Shopping Centre

Upon arriving concierge staff was very friendly and welcoming. The building is very clean and new. Front desk staff were friendly and professional. We arrived at 2:30 and our room was not ready, which is understandable as check in is 3:00. So we figured they must be strict about not allowing early check in at all, unless prearranged. We proceeded with the check in paperwork and were told to wait for an email at 3:00 and then come back to the desk for our room keys. It was close to 3:30 before we were finally able to get our room keys. No apologies for the wait, and I am more than certain we will not get a 30 minute refund. Upon entering the room, although the room was fairly clean, the floors didn’t appear to be mopped and there was a cleaning rag left behind. Which leaves me to suspect that the room was cleaned in haste and perhaps not thoroughly. The breakfast buffet was good, although we avoided the scrambled eggs containing the long, black hair. The location is excellent for proximity to Princess of Wales Theatre.

Stayed in the Bernard Shaw room. Well appointed, comfy bed, BUT the in room air conditioner was SO noisy surging on and off, sleep was impossible. Couldn’t open the window due to smoky air outside. Well located to walk into NOTL. Staff - one - not very friendly. Best thing about our stay: very cute family of Skunks entertained us as we sat on the verandah one evening,
