"Expectations were blown away at this beautiful place. You can tell it was at the peak of style and quality when last renovated, and it’s been very well maintained. The communication, service and hospitality of Frau Büngers personally was proof that we were staying in a cozy, non-corporate, family run place. Simply fantastic. "The suite was truly excellent, the view was beautiful way up above huge trees. The pool was super. I found a lot of peace in this elegant, beautiful 80’s style hotel where the rooms were still big and spacious. A lot of people rate the breakfast highly. It was quite nice but could have had more options. The staff could also be more attentive and polite. It’s the rooms and the view that were beautiful."

5 Star Holiday Home in Wendtorf

Wendtorf

"Fantastisk udsigt over bådehavnen og indsejling til Kiel. Dejligt roligt område. Rengøringen ved overtagelse, kunne godt have været bedre.

5 Star Holiday Home in Wendtorf

Ellers dejlig lejlighed "

5 Star Holiday Home in Wendtorf

Top Bay of Kiel Hotel Reviews

Hampton by Hilton Kiel City Centre

10/10 Excellent

"It's a great location with all the amenities inc. complimentary breakfast! For the price in comparison to other hotels I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Walking distance to Hbf and Ferry Terminals. Perfect 👌"

Hotel Kiel by Golden Tulip

10/10 Excellent

"The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."
