"Property was easy to get to and there is lots of conveniences nearby. Overall it was very clean except the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, which wasn’t a huge deal. The only downfall was the amount of noise from upstairs. We could hear people yelling and each step sounded like elephants walking around."

"The worst place that I have ever booked. Nothing like the pictures. Not even complete space for 3 people to sleep and they are booking it for 4 people. Can't even stand straight in the building. No host and had to figure out most stuff on my own. Left the place immigrated and booked another location. The place even had weird smell to it."

"We enjoyed our stay close to local beaches, kayak/paddle board rentals and in between Halifax and Mahone Bay. The owner was very attentive and thoughtful of our needs. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the owner brought family videos and yummy coffee for us. It was well equipped with a wonderful washer dryer, BBQ, waffle maker and coffee maker as well as many items for guests. The deck was handy to enjoy meals and watch the deer in the morning and water throughout the day and evening. I...

"This adorable little flat is located on the Dartmouth waterfront just a short walk from the ferry to Halifax and the McDonald Bridge if you are looking for an adventure it is a pedestrian friendly bridge that spans 1 mile and is about 15 minutes to walk. From there you can take the short walk along Barrington to Halifax's downtown core and a quick ferry ride back to Alderney Landing and back to the flat. "The house has the characteristics of a peaceful era of time gone by! If walls could talk the history of the house would be full of stories! At one time it was probably the queen peering over the bay, anticipating the arrival of fishing boats! The house was clean and accommodating for our stay! Enjoyed the daily visitation of the humming birds! Amazing! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"Came for a week to revisit Halifax and area, but stay in a quiet area. It was great, caught Fleet Week, saw Peggy's cove, Lunenberg, all the stuff in Halifax, narrowly missed the incoming storm....Good Luck folks. Spent a lot of time talking with Nova Scotians who are great people, always had the feeling they'd give you the shirt off their backs."
