This place worked well for us. Location for access to Wolfville, Windsor & Annapolis Valley was very good. The area was nice & quiet The apartment is a tad tired, but very clean & had everything we needed for our short stay. Communication was excellent.
"Beuty" is in the eye of the beholder. If you like a slightly updated 1970s (new flooring, heat pump, lighting) look with plywood cabinets, furniture, and kitchen accessories that look like a couple of trips to the local thrift shop, then you are going to LOVE this place. Even comes with king ( queen?) size sheets on a small double bed.If you are 5 or 6 people looking for a quick getaway or a weekend in the valley, then this is def the place - great value, if you don’t mind one bathroom and a kitchen with minimal & mismatched cooking utensils,pots & pans etc.. IF, however, you are into cooking while on holiday, well, this is probably not the place for you.Having said that, it is well located for walking down to the main street, there is a great TV, and the owners are very communicative (in a good way). We had a couple of issues that were dealt with as close to immediately as possible - a.I get it, setting up a good vacation rental costs money, but so is renting one for a week. Who knows, it may be a growth process; the kitchen may be modernized, and a visitors guide/information brochure about local “stuff” may be added in time. But, at the time of this writing, not so much luck.
Nice 3 bedroom house with everything you need. Well stocked kitchen (spices, oil, coffee stuff, paper towels, cooking and grilling tools, plenty of dishes, etc.) with all the appliances, outdoor grill and dining area, large bathroom with tub/shower combo plus a clothes washer and dryer, and the TV is great! The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Great place for 4 adults to hole up as Hurricane Fiona hit Nova Scotia.
