Bauska

Bauska is situated 35 miles (56 kilometers) south of the national capital Riga.

For a truly authentic taste of the region, why not take a road trip and discover the cities, towns and villages around Bauska. Jelgava, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the southeast, and Ikskile, 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the south of Bauska are good places to visit if you're keen on learning more about this region.

Approximately 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the north of Bauska is Riga, a regional city where you'll find Berg's Bazaar, Esplanade Park and Arena Riga. Be sure not to head back to Bauska until you've checked out Riga's St. Jacob's Cathedral, Latvian National Opera and Latvian Academy of Sciences.
