Staff were amazing but unfortunately the pool was out of order for all 3 days we were there and they did not inform us prior to us arriving. Breakfast is okay, not many great options and rooms were tidy. There is also a construction site next door working all hours of day.

Grand du Lac was an absolute standout and easily one of my favorite hotels during our time in Vietnam. The location is wonderfully central, putting you within easy reach of so many places; whether we felt like strolling there on foot or hopping in a quick Grab ride, everything just felt convenient. But what really made the stay special was the staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, they remembered us and greeted us each time we returned. They even reached out via WhatsApp to check if we needed anything, which was a thoughtful personal touch that made us feel truly looked after. If you’re looking for a hotel that nails both location and hospitality, Grand du Lac delivers on every front. We can’t wait to come back :)

We had a 3 night stay. Room and amenities were very good we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast has both western and local options, they have a rooftop bar and restaurant where you can sit in the background of Saigon river view. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Only one suggestion to property owners is that please inform guest about how to operate lightings in the room. We couldn’t find the switch to turn off light above the bed and finally we figured out it was in the remote control. Otherwise we had an excellent stay at Grand Saigon. Wifi also very good and fast.

Friendly staff. VG pool and saunas. Adequate gym. Terrific breakfast and complimentary afternoon tea. Excellent central location. Overall excellent value for money.
