Staff excellent, hotel not so much
The staff were excellent - very welcoming and receptive. However, unfortunately probably due to the impact of Covid the hotel is in need of some repairs. Guests should be warned how far out of town and anywhere to eat is, especially as this hotel has closed its restaurant and pool bar. No where local to buy food except the marketplace with few options. Toilet blocked, room not cleaned, nor water replenished during our stay.

Thank you so much for your recent stayed with our property, we have fixed our roof top ready but we are not sure yet there is no leaking as now it is dry season. And our restuarant are going to open again. We hope to see you again.

Checked out after 2hrs; arrived at checkin to be told they could order us in some pizzas as their restaurant had just closed & wouldn't be reopening...pretty sure it had been closed for years. Nowhere nearby (walking) to even grab breakfast in the morning. After 2 hours aircon still wasn't working in any of our 3 rooms. We decided to head to VV hotel Battambang as at least it's central (& plenty of local Khmer food options) Not even a tuktuk available nearby so had to get reception to book us one. If you don't need food or drink, maybe give it a try, sadly not for us

Our location close to market just 5mns walk and infront our property serve breakfast, and the main road also serve too. Initially we checked into another hotel but it was unacceptable in every aspect. We moved here after seeing it and booking via Experia. Nice rooms and pool area. Some renovation to add a Restaurant which will definitely be nicer as a full stay in facility later.

Lovely grounds. Friendly stafff
Lovely hotel / friendly staff. Loved the out door areas & pool. A little out from the main part of town but still easily accessible. Definitely would stay there again!

3 rooms/2 nights As a stranger in foreign country. My family wanted to move out the first night but I did not want to upset the owner. The rooms were not prepared at all. There were nearly emptied Shampoo and liquid soap. At midnight there were Gecko/Lizards screaming and Dogs barking constantly very unpleasant stayed and unable to get a good night sleep. We decided not stayed the second night, so we turned in the three keys in that morning. We lost money on the second night which we did not stay. Refusal to give us a refund, so we Lost money. I am not recommended this Hotel.

Dear Adam Thanks for your recent stayed with us. I am really not happy to see your comment liked that it is really unfair to our place. We all were done for your rooms each room prepared well. As you have a problem you can talk with our manager and he will helps you. The problem is that when you want check out early and didn’t say or request something for refund. You guys didn’t talk about it at our property. Around 10 days later, you called to agency for request for refund. If you talked to us, we will send an email to agency for your request but you were not say something with us during your check out time at our property.

Charming Family Run Boutique
Ravorn Villa is a charming family run boutique hotel. Not upscale or pretentious, the poolside rooms provide basic comfort and ready access to a cool dip amid lush and well tended gardens. The food served on site is acceptable and while a 10 minute drive away from the hustle and bustle of the river front area, it is handy enough to plentiful dining option and readily accessible to routes to see the out of town sites such as the Bat Cave and Bamboo Train both no more than 30 minutes away. Highly recommend for familes or anyone wanting a bit of luxury on a tight budget.

It was very quiet, except for the last morning when there was a wedding. Big pool, good size room and courtyard. Very friendly staff and owners. A little bit out of town but tuk tuk drivers only charge 1-3 dollars

Friendly staff, hotel could use some investment
Communication prior to arrival was good and arrival check in was quick and easy. Website photos do not tell the complete story as the hotel and its facilities are looking tired and needing investment or refurbishment. There were very few people staying during our two nights and although we did try food in the restaurant we decided to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay. The pool was a nice temperature but appeared to be dirty with cloudy water. Rooms are spacious but no shower curtain to prevent the bathroom getting soaked after a shower. The outside space (for the room) was not welcoming and had rolls of razor wire on top of the 6ft high boundary wall to prevent unwanted access to the hotel (we think). For us, it was a place to rest but we spent most of our time exploring the local area and in the main town in the evening.

Great Experience
This hotel is run by a family. They are very kind, helpful, informative and gracious. The room had wonderful air conditioning. The pool was very nice to swim in. They can call for a tuk tuk for you. Our driver was Prohass. He was excellent. Very careful driver, kind, punctual, safe and dependable. The location is fine as we never really could orient ourselves to where we were in Battambang! Most of the things we did were only a 10-15 minute tuk tuk ride in distance.

Amazing Hotel
Would recommend this hotel for a visit to Battambang. The staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome. Absolutely nothing was a problem to them and they organised all of our travel arrangments whilst staying there. The rooms were spacious and kept really clean by the staff. The accommodation was in a quiet area, and was peaceful in the evenings. It was great to get up in the morning and walk straight from your room for an early morning swim before breakfast. I

Hotel with pool 2.5km outside the town centre
The Ravorn Villa Boutique is a hotel with a pool and is located about 2.5km outside the town centre. After initial confusion about the room. We had booked a Junior Suite which here is a basic guest room, I managed to upgrade by paying extra to a Superior room which had the two double beds we needed for 3 adults sharing a room! The owner was insisting on being paid a lot more for the room and it was only by showing the difference in cost in Expedia that I eventually bargained it down to a smaller amount. The breakfast is sparse and you have to order it so there is a little bit of a delay - also didn't have a toaster to make toast.

The hotel was generally quite good, but a bit out of the way. My main issue with this hotel was when we checked in, they provided us breakfast vouchers for the following morning. Once we had ordered the following morning, the lady told us that breakfast actually wasn't included and we had to paid USD5 per person. If you stay here be sure to clarify this when checking in to avoid any surprise.

Nice hotel out of main town but easy to reach by tut tut Staff were lovely and Sarah extremely helpful Breakfast was a let down as buffet style but not kept hot so everything was cold but you could order from menu.

Rooms are good for a mid level hotel. Breakfast needs to be set up better. Put a heat source under the baine maries so that the items inside stay warm.

The good. Lovely swimming pool and grounds. Nice big rooms. The bad. When we arrived we asked if it was OK to cancel our hotel organised transfer to Phnom Penh. Reception staff said that’s fine no problems. How wrong was that. The next day we were hassled about it and was asked to see manager. There seems to be bad communication between staff and management or miss communication due to language issues. We ended up going with the hotel transfer booking otherwise issues would have got worse. The spoiled the atmosphere there with the staff. Our pool towels were not changed the next day. In the afternoon we had to request new ones. The fridge did not work at restaurant that contained the beer. The umbrellas shades were mouldy and were semi rotten.

We also thank for your comment all these case: - The first thing for us to say is you are not a responsible person (You are not honest person); we do not know how can you work for community mental health as you are not have responsibility with your work. - The second is just a small amount of money between our transportation and yours; you made as a problem for our place. You booked us 5 months before arrival date but you ask to cancel one day before leave from our place, what did you mean on this? -The pool towel we prepare well for all guests when they needed. If you just hang up on chair, we not change it. We working for save environment. -The fridge at the restaurant it is auto timer the light on and off by itself. But we have staff at night time, the can serve you as you needed. - Last thing to say is you were threaten us about reviewing on tripadvisor.com or other social media about our place is so bad. We are fine the thing we can do is just want to serve all people who come to stay with us as we can. We support and serve them as much as we can do it. We want to show them about our Cambodian Culture, Cambodian Lifestyle and daily working. Last but not least, we are much appreciated for your time to share your experience with our place. Lovely villas in a serene place
The hotel and their staff are really nice and peaceful. The rooms and rest of the property is very well maintained. The hotel is a bit away from the city center but the reception staff can arrange transportation easily and conveniently. I really enjoyed my stay there with my husband and 5 year old.

Mixed feelings
The room and grounds are lovely and the pool is large and inviting. It is very peaceful and relaxing and the staff are polite. However it is quite far from town and I wasn’t given a map or any information about the town. The staff are nice but not terribly helpful. I asked to book a bus to Siem Reap and although I checked 3 times that it had been booked when I went to check out they told me they had not booked it as it was full. I don’t know if there was a communication problem or they just made an error but they were not very helpful fixing the problem. The internet and tv did not work in the room after 6pm and from about 6:30 onwards there were continual short blackouts about every 10 minutes so I couldn’t even read. If you want a restful break you should stay here, but be aware there may be problems.

The place was an oasis, just a little out of town away from the hustle and bustle. Staff were very friendly and helped us with trips and sight seeing. Rooms were big and clean. The food was excellent too.

Warm welcome in Battambang
We just stay a night after a 7 hours boat trip coming from Siem Reap. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful to get tickets for the "local circus" and to organize a car to follow up on our trip. Nice swimming pool and lovely garden. We highly recommend.

Absolutely Amazing! The family that owns these beautiful villas are absolutely amazing! The staff is so friendly and helpful. These villas are a little piece of paradise. I extended my stay numerous times. I stayed there for over two weeks. I travel a lot and work in the hospitality industry so that should say a lot.

Hidden Gem
Great staff and ownership. Treated me very, very well. This place is a hidden gem. Great ambiance with the landscape within the villas. I loved the location too. It is in a "locals" area. I enjoyed the restaurant. Good selection or local and western type food. The pool is an added bonus. Things to take note of: The villas are landscaped very well. There are ponds, trees, bushes, vines, artistic standing water areas, etc. This means there will be some "wildlife" frogs, fish, lizards, etc. around the property. I enjoyed it(truly)... except for having one of those lizards make himself my roommate. They are very hard to get out, once they are in. If you are not into nature, those things might affect you. A/C worked well. Wifi worked well. Satellite worked pretty well. I travel a lot. I recommend this property.

Fantastic stay in Battambang
Ravorn is a great family run business. Rooms are very spacious and clean, pool and gardens are beautiful. Although its about 3km from the centre of Battambang the hotel has bikes to use free of charge or they can arrange a tuk tuk for just $2. Alternatively it's only about a 15 minute walk. The thing I love most about Ravorn is that the family employs locals from rural areas and trains them well, giving a great opportunity to these locals who can then financially aid their families. This is soo important for the development of Cambodia and the local people. Well done Ravorn for your great work!

nice family run hotel
We had a pleasant stay at Ravorn Villa. It is a family run business. And if you want to support the local economy, supporting local family businesses like this is the way to go. The place is a hidden gem: quiet and separated from the noise of downtown center. They have a breakfast option, and a lovely swimming pool. Overall, we enjoyed out stay.

Lovely but needs a little work
The hotel was a little out of town and it sometimes took a while to get a tuk tuk. The staff were lovely but maybe need a little more training. The room was great value for money and the pool is brilliant. Restaurant is not great.

Nice family run hotel, friendly staff, great pool
We had a great stay. The family and staff are very friendly. English is basic for some staff, but be patient, they are learning and will put the effort in to sort out whatever you need. And anyway, my Khmer is non-existent, so well done! Ravorn Villa is a bit out of town, however has a great pool and is in a quiet area. They have bikes, which we used to go to the bamboo train in the morning and to go into town in the later afternoon. Food onsite is very good as well. Rooms are large and clean.

Warm and welcoming
We have stayed at all kinds of hotels, but nothing with the kind of hospitality that Ravorn Hotel showed us! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and it felt like home away from home. I even got to spend some time in the kitchen learning how to cook a couple of Khmer dishes! We chose to eat most of our meals at the hotel because it very affordable and tasted great. The owner speaks good English and we learned many interesting facts about the area.

Highly recommended
brilliant place to stay, not central but a tuk-tuk is only a couple of dollars for a ride. Great room with stunning outdoor shower. Staff were very frendly and helpful, highly recommended!

Très belle établissement plutôt haut de gamme sous forme de bungalows! La piscine est super pour les enfants et le personnel très pro et disponible (s occupe volontiers de prendre en charge les réservations de bus, les confirmations d excursions etc etc). Le petit déjeuner est très copieux (buffet) et très bon. Dommage qu il en soit pas de même pour la restauration du midi et du soir (a la carte). Attention également au tuk tuk avec qui travail l hôtel car ce dernier vous fait bien comprendre que vous êtes ds un hôtel plutôt haut de gamme (tarifs 2x plus chères qu en ville) : dommage car l établissement est quand même assez excentré du centre ville. Je recommande quand même vivement cet hôtel!!!

Rapport qualité prix excellent
Petit hôtel familial avec un personnel attentionné et serviable chambre de belle dimension mais svp retirer l’emballlage du matelas. Là réservation de prestation extérieur sans commission est appréciée. Les massages sont au top MERCI encore à elles le rapport qualité prix du restaurant est bon. Belle piscine dans un cadre magnifique Merci à Hôtel.com qui nous a jamais déçu dans ses prix et ses choix d’hôtels

Small family run hotel was perfect for 3 nights
Recently built family run hotel just on the outskirts of Battambang was perfect for our 3 night stay.English was adequate',and the staff arranged excursions efficiently.The swimming pool was a good size and often used.The only minus point was that the recommended restaurant in Battambang was disappointing,however we discovered Jan Baai which was excellent

Ordentliche Immobilie, lieblos betrieben
Der Pool und die Lage abseits einer Hauptverkehrsstrasse sowie die Verfügbaren Verbindungszimmer waren für uns das Argument für das Hotel, obwohl man zu Fuss von hier nichts erreichen und insbesondere nicht abends schlendern kann. Das Frühstück war der Tiefpunkt, hingestellt in chafing dishes, aber nicht warmgehalten, weil man sich die Brennpaste gespart hat. Selbst der Reis war alle; als wir um 8.30h kamen. Spät am Abend standen noch Essensreste am Pool, auch das war Zeichen eines Problems im Betrieb. Ob die Mückenplage im Objekt auch dem Betreiber anzulasten ist, ist mir nicht klar, haben wir aber sonst nie so extrem erlebt.

Cet hotel est très joli, mignon. La chambre que nous avions était très spacieuse, propre, calme. L hotel nous a aidé à booker nos tours (notre chauffeur de tuk tuk était formidable et a pris des chemins hors des sentiers battus). Nous avons pu prendre directement dans cet hotel des billets de bus pour Phnom Penh. Nous avons pris des repas (cuisine locale) également dans cet hotel : ils étaient vraiment très bon. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour. Nous recommandons très chaudement cet hotel, qui est une entreprise familiale; une famille très mignonne. Cet hotel est un excellent rapport qualité/prix.
