Beautiful Johnstone on the Weir!
We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous, comfortable apartment! It was the first visit to Bath for us, and we loved being close to everything, but also having a quiet, peaceful retreat at the end of the day.

Beautiful property just a short walk to the centre of town and all the amenities. Waking up to the sound of the weir every morning during the good weather was fab. Hope to stay again, maybe in December for the Christmas Market.

very comfortable mattress. extremely fab location
large georgian windows and french doors allow light and air through! plus view! fresh clean white linen and duvet! kitchen ware is scarce. irritating fridge door that is stuck closed. door under sink stuck closed with fridge door! no drying rack. balcony furniture worn and tippy. slippery floor matt around desk area! watch your steps also! we did not put wine stains on the gold upholstery chair nor did we leave liquid rings from glasses .,, destruction of wooden antique tables! already there! loved art and we were overseen by three large male busts! 😄

Great location
Initially a problem getting into the flat as 2 keypads and 2 ground floor flats but once we sorted that we were pleased with the apartment. Loved the large windows and shutters. Great views of the weir and a very central location.

This was a gem of an apartment, in a great location... close to everything; restaurants, shopping and wonderful sites. The apartment was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable which is very important to weary travelers. My first time in Bath and I would definitely stay here again.

It is a spacious beautifully located apartment in one of those wonderful Bath terraces. Bed and sofas were comfortable. Our only criticism, which could be corrected for a minimal amount of money would be need of (i) Proper coat-hangers to hang clothes including trousers, bedside lamps that work, and a few more plates, bowls and glasses so you don't have to wash them every time. Loved the location of the flat. Close to Pulteney Bridge and old town centre and the Roman bath which was extensive and well presented. We would have appreciated a little more help with parking, i.e. a parking pass, other than that our stay was excellent!

Thanks Rick. Pleased you enjoyed it. Unfortunately the council have removed all parking permits for self catering and hotels in Bath. Therefore we wouldn't have had a permit to give to you. However, hopefully you parked up in one of the close car parks. Take care and hope to see you again.

Great stay with easy access to Bath
This comfortable apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated in a way that you can almost imagine you're in another period. It's on a quiet street but once you leave the block you are at the edge of town where you can wander and shop. The balcony out the back overlooking the labyrinth with the sound of the nearby weir is relaxing after a day of exploring and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need for a few days. The check-in process is easy and the staff at BHR was helpful but be aware that they no longer have parking available if it's still showing in the listing which kind of threw us since we had a car and expected a spot. However, you can double park out front to unload and there is a car park a short distance away. It was a great stay for us in a beautiful city!

Wonderful Location, Beautiful Apartment
It was a great apartment ... nice big bed and beautiful high ceilings. So close to everything. We parked and never got into the car until we left. Easy walk to EVERYTHING and great food and drink right around the corner. The view of the weir was fantastic. Fun to watch people walking on the maze! We recommend this apartment!!!

Perfect Accommodation!
Loved the ‘old world’ look and feel of this place but happily impressed with the modern conveniences and the comfiest of beds. The location is great because you can walk everywhere. Great pub “The Boater” just around the corner with friendly staff and excellent food. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay in Bath!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Johnstone on the Weir. We stayed three nights and enjoyed all the amenities the flat had to offer. It is beautifully decorated with a modern kitchen and bath. The location was very convenient yet allowed for privacy. We could walk around the city to see the sights and it was a quick ten minute walk to the train station. The view of the weir is amazing! We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful property.
